Great value
Course is in pretty good shape considering how hot it has been. Greens were fast and spinny shots would come come back. Fun course at a great value.
Greens are great right now@!!!
Viva the Legacy!!! Always a fun layout & the greens this week are better than anywhere else in the Sandhills! Love playing at the Leg- Sean the GM & Paige the bartender are always great to hangout with at the new/bar & grill!
Very fair course
Played here many time, great staff, the course is very fair to the average golfer. Enjoy the green for they roll very nice.
Legendary Legacy
Legacy Golf Links is ALWAYS a treat. Course is going through some changes but it is always spot on. Quite a challenge. Quick greens, value is always fair, and the practice facilities are great. Learned how to play the game here, it will always be great!
Legacy Golf Links
Lovin’ this place! We barely got out of the car to be greeted by a gentleman delivering our cart and offering to help with our clubs. The entire staff is outstanding: friendly and helpful. The course is a wonderful Nicklaus design that holds your interest throughout the round. Portions of the fairways were dry which is fully acceptable since we have had rain around here in weeks and temps in the 90’s. The greens had been recently dressed and were very fast. I fully expect the greens to be perfect next time I visit. Did I mention we really need rain?!?
Legacy Golf
Very interesting layout - every hole feels different/unique. Greens roll really well despite having been recently aerated. Greens soft enough to hold a long iron shot. Tees and fairways in good shape. A couple of greenside traps could use more depth of sand but most are fair and playable. We had no pace of play issues. Staff is very friendly and accommodated our being a little late. Good service in the bar after playing.
Good layout
Its a nice course with a good layout. Played it a number of times and pace of play is a real issue. We waited on every shot but it wasn't just one slow group in front of us, it was jammed. We drove up to many tee boxes with a group still on it.
Legacy a worthy sand hills course
Play here when you are in the area. First nine fairly classic Pinehurst holes. Back nine adds some elevation change and water hazards which makes the course well worth the visit.
Nobody there on the cool April day with rain threatening. Played in 3.3 hrs. Greens were in exceptional shape for this time of year.
Pace of play
The course was in good shape, they didn’t overseed anything this year unfortunately. Conditions were overall good.
Pace of play was ridiculous, took 5 hrs 45 mins.
Good course layout
Enjoyed the course in winter condition. Really enjoyed back 9 layout.
A Gem
Loved this course. It had beautiful views and played well consideeing dry conditions and some construction. Would definitely play here again especially when building up is done. Regardless of a work in progress there are many beautiful views.
