About Manor House at Tanglewood Park
The Manor House Bed and Breakfast isn't your typical golf hotel or resort, but its location inside the 1,100-acre Tanglewood Park does have its advantages. It's within a mile of Tanglewood Park's 45 holes of golf, including the Championship Course, host of the 1974 PGA Championship won by Lee Trevino. The Victorian era manor dating to 1859 has been completely restored. All the rooms include their own private baths and period furniture and decor. Golfers can also stay at the cottage, guesthouse and apartment. Park amenities feature an aquatic center, horse stables, tennis courts and more.Facts

nice but needs work
This course has some fun holes. Overall a good value but the sand traps are not even useable. We play free drop in every trap because they are very degraded and in poor condition.
Great day at tanglewood champions
Was in great shape! Lots of bunkers .
The staff is always excellent even with how big they are all staff extra friendly! Keep it up!
Pace of play was great . 3.5 hours !
One of North Carolina's best secrets

Retired and staying that way!!
Excellent Course
This is an excellent course to play with beautiful scenery. I have played it many times in different conditions. After a rain the course does hold water and can be very wet. Lately the course has been wonderful. The greens are very smooth and running well right now.
Sunday round
Course was in great shape other than bunkers. Pace of pllaywas good for a weekend round. Highly recommend this course if you are in the area!
Perfect Day in North Carolina
The 8 seniors from Pittsburgh came to Clemmons for the first time after going to Sanford NC for the last six years. Yes we will be back to Tanglewood. This course was great. Kitty in the club house made our experience easy. Our carts where ready for us. The first whole was breath taken and it only got better. Each hole was like looking at a picture. I won't forget it. Past reviews talk about there traps being in rough shape, not a big deal at all we just pulled our ball out and hit to keep the game going.
I ran the golf outing and the other seven guy's said to me. I could not have picked a better course.
Thank you Kitty and the rest of your staff for an experience I will never forget.
Challenging course, but fair.
Beautiful course, nicely laid out. As first-timers we could've used more signage between holes. We got lost more once, especially between the front and back nines.
Challenging but fun
This is a great course and the greens are very nice and it's a little challenging and very fun. I went alone and paired up with some people at the course and I will definitely be back soon. If this is your first time playing I recommend you pair up with someone who knows the layout.
Great greens
Course was in excellent condition for this time of year. Fairways are very well taken care of. Bunkers could use a little bit of work but greens was cut to perfection. Great course and will be back.
Great Course.
A real nice course. Greens were just aeriated and sand put down so putting was a challenge. May have helped me though. Course is well kept. Good snack bar with good food.
Championship Course layout
Excellent golf course with impressive layout. Conditions were very pleasing and fair. Won't find a better Trent Jones course for this price!
Not what it used to be
Tanglewood has always been synonymous with great golf and great amenities was disappointed with the condition of the course The greens were rough ball bounced alot making putting difficult. The staff was top notch and the clubhouse was great
