Beautiful vistas
Greens were not up to the 45 dollar rate charged for a hot deal.
Best spot in NC
Without question one of the most scenic & wild golf courses anywhere- my favorite track- entire property is guarded & watched over by an Old Bulldog in the clouds named Beau- how amazing is that!!! Look for his plaque overlooking the mountains on the back 9- simply majestic! - JP
Awesome views
Staff was great. Course was beautiful. Back nine more challenging than front nine. Enjoyed it so much, we played another 18 same day. Great value. Equivalent to course I have paid almost twice as much to play. Food was good and very reasonably priced. Will definitely to back.
So so course
Poor layout, amateur green keeper, beautiful view, nice staff.
Hilly, cart only and you must be a good cart driver
Hole 2 I took driver, 1/2 pw, full 9 iron, 2 putts PAR, where else do you see a par 5 like that. Hole 17 too tricked up as well as several others.
Challenging Course with Beautiful Views
If you are not used to playing mountain golf courses Olde Beau will definitely be a challenge. The course has some fun and very difficult holes. Vies are spectacular and staff is friendly.
Most beautiful course I’ve ever played!
The course was amazing from the tee to green. The greens were just aerated which was disappointing. I can’t wait to get back there when the greens are rolling true. Picturesque views were worth the price of admission.
Must Play Course in the NC Mountains
My favorite course to play in the NC mountains. The views, elevations changes and wow-factor holes are second to none in NC.
rewarding
This is a great course to play. Especially in the fall with the fall colors. Just beautiful!!
Olde Beauest
Course in immaculate condition...only problem is the leaves and it is Autumn...worth the drive
Great Track
Very friendly staff, a beautiful course on mountainous terrain.
Thoroughly enjoyed the course
I definitely will go back. I have wanted to play there for some time and was not disappointed. The greens were some of the best that I have been on. The condition of the course was outstanding, and the views cannot be described, only experienced. The staff were super friendly and very accomodating. Playing as a single, for 11 of the last 18 holes, i had to wait every shot, not being allowed to play through as a single player. This was no fault of the course or the staff, just some fellows that need a crash course in course etiquette. The saving grace was that I was able to enjoy the views that were present at each hole. GolfNow needs to update their directions to get to the course. I was directed to a location 55 miles from the course. Notwithstanding that, definitely a great experience.
Incredible
Old Beau is an incredible mountain course.
It is truly a mountain course... not just foothills. Some of the holes are so interesting.
The course is particularly challenging if you're unfamiliar with the course. Bring a few extra golf balls.
