Springdale at Cold Mountain

This quickly became our favorite course to play. They are doing a lot of work to the course and facilities and everyone has always been awesome to deal with. Won't play anywhere else and will bring our guests here as well.

Course great shape, green, fairway, etc. just worries they will raise green fees once clubhouse/ restaurant opens. At this stage their fees are in upper end compared to nearby course, which I am OK to pay, but if increased, then that could be deal-breaker

This course is not a cookie cutter course. A lot of work has been done on this course since it changed hands 2 or 3 years ago. The front 9 is kind of flat and open so you can dail in your game. The back is more mountainous and narrow. The greens are consistent in speed and will hold a well struck approach shot. I really enjoy playing this course. The staff could not be more friendly. You are felt welcomed from everyone.

Springdale is in the best shape I can ever remember. Beautiful clubhouse, new carts, amazing staff, perfect location, course is immaculate!

I have played Springdale many times before the flood. My best friend Eric and I played after with the new club house and new carts. What a treat this is my favorite course to show off with visitors on vacation! Thank you so much for being a solid golf course and we can’t wait to play again!

My son and usually play twice week and have played here a few times. The conditions of this course in late November are immaculate...let alone after the extreme flood conditions they have endured this past summer. KUDOS TO THIS TEAM! Oh...and I can't forget the best golf carts I have ever driven! Distance, Scorecard, and bluetooth capabilities are seconds to none!

Really enjoyed the course...same holes still drive me nuts...not sure why the course doesn’t have winter rates..for seniors to start drawing a greater golfer base...No one one was playing when we were there on a beautiful fall/winter day

Nice new golf carts, course in pretty good shape after the repairs from flooding. Excellent new club house with a very friendly staff.

A really nice facility. Friendly staff. New golf carts. Reasonable rates. I highly recommend to bring your family or friends and enjoy a day on a challenging course.

I love playing golf at Springdale and also seeing all the improvements you are making. In my opinion Best course in Haywood County.

First time reviewing a golf course and this one makes me want to. Just an awesome golf course nestled in the mountains with very good conditioned fairways and greens. Greens rolled decently quick. Lot of tee shots that fit my fade. Had a super peaceful round with nobody behind/in front. Listening to the water in the creek and the amazing views made it a very relaxing day. Well worth the drive up from Charlotte.

The course is quickly becoming our favorite. Great course and great value. Making many improvements and the scenery is amazing

Clubhouse and dining not finished but getting close. Can tell that’s gonna be a nice area to hang out.

Course is till having some work done but overall conditions were very good. Once everything is all finished this place is gonna be spectacular.

Leaf change is great right now and weather the other day where we played was great.

Staff was also very friendly.

Can’t wait to get back in the spring.

Beautiful mountain golf without the ridiculous mountain holes. It’s really a neat and nice place to play. It is off the grid but it is well worth it! Course conditions make it a first class course.

I had not played the course in two plus years-wow what a transition...The layout is the same but many trees have beeen removed to speed up play etc...No weeds at all...Best greens I have played in western NC this year.every golfer needs to come play here and there is a $39 senior rate-more than I like ....the new clubhouse etc must be a 2-3 million dollar addition...come play here

Overall a very nice course. Unfortunately it was very wet with all the rain so grass was tall and thick. Will definitely go back again. Beautiful scenery.

The course was in great shape and we had perfect weather. We play this course when we visit NC, usually play Springdale 2-3 times a month. Only negative is the clubhouse is under construction so stopping at the turn isn't an option. Make sure you have drinks/balls/etc. for the entire round when you tee off.

Bent grass rarity in the south, with generally very large greens. The variety of holes is impressive, and the string of back nine par 4s (13-16) is all "one would want" as far as a challenge goes.

Amenities should steeply escalate and routing issues be resolved when new clubhouse and restaurant construction is completed before winter of 2021.

I enjoy this course each and every visit!
