Springdale at Cold Mountain

Great layout, course in good condition. Many recent updates to course (bunkers redone, new drainage, etc) and new club house under construction. Will definitely be back to play again!

Started this morning on a frost delay with the temp being 36 degrees at 11am. Nonetheless the course is in really nice shape considering it's winter! Greens were smooth and rolled true. We only paid $23 with the TEE OFF DISCOUNT so it really made the round worth playing... I would definitely recommend playing here and I will definitely be back!!!

This was my first time playing this course and I loved everything about it. The course was in excellent condition, layout is great with fantastic views, and the staff was friendly. Looking forward to when the new clubhouse is ready.

First time out with a 4some of buds who were looking to gamble a bit and have a good time and BOY DID WE!

The course was in INCREDIBLE condition considering the time of year; by FAR the best taken care of course I've been to in the late fall. Driving range and pitching greens available and well taken care of. Tee boxes: Great. Fairways: Great and still green. Rough: Well cut. Everything was top notch. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Where do I start? Staff are super friendly and do a great job going out of there way to give you the best experience possible. Views are stunning, the air is fresh, and the course is kept in fantastic condition. The greens are smooth and quick, the fairways roll nicely without any mud spots or overgrown patches of grass which could otherwise ruin a perfect drive off the tee, and overall it is just an enjoyable layout. I am a high handicap player and I didn't even mind that it was challenging because as an overall experience it was just so enjoyable.

On top of all this, the course is reasonably priced. Compared to a lot of the alternatives in WNC that are in similarly good condition, this one is cheaper than the grove park and it doesn't require a membership like a lot of the premium courses in the area. It's definitely worth the 40 minute drive from Asheville.

I was an hour late because the highway to the course was shut down. When I arrived I was warmly greeted and thanked for coming. They gave me options for which tee to start at so I could get all 18 finished. When I came in after, I was again thanked. I just wish my putting was as good as the staff was.

Fine, challenging layout with beautiful views. Fairways and especially greens in very good condition. Really enjoyed it. Range was nice. Didn’t explore off course amenities and really have no opinion on that.
