Reviews
Great course if you like large groups of drunk players, slow play
Mid South Club is a great course. Beautiful holes, greens are next to perfect, layout is incredible. The staff are cheerful and friendly. The management/ownership is the problem…. They allow large groups of drunk players on the course who litter beer cans everywhere, urinate all over the course and behave like idiots. This IS NOT A PRIVATE course (it is in a gated community). I have watched drunk men walking up to parents with young children on the range and berate them. I have watched drunk players yelling at other players to get off the course so that they can start their round. I have played rounds that took over four hours for nine holes because drunk players were allowed to hold up the entire course. What a waste of a beautiful golf course and what should be a great experience. This is a five star course which is run as a two star course. Shame on you
Always great
Talamore is great! Excellent conditions with top tier greens.
Nice Saturday Morning
My home course was flooded by Tropical Storm Debbie. Talamore was fortunate enough to miss out on the worst of the heavy rain, so I decided to take a short road trip. I’m glad I did! I loved everything about this course, especially the condition of the greens. Fairways and tee boxes too! Hats off to the grounds crew. Great job!
I also enjoyed the person walking in front of the clubhouse playing bagpipes. I’ve never seen that before.
Awesome Day!
The course is worth the price; it was in such good condition. I love that the holes are away from cart paths because they keep the area around the greens in such nice conditions. I really love this course.
First time playing Mid South
Easily one if the nicest and overall fun course i’ve played!
Scouting trip
Playing this course on a guys trip in September. Had a chance to scout it. The course had just been punched this week so the greens were bumpy and could not get a good read ( to be expected after punching). Course layout is good and right in front of you. The sod wall bunkers add a challenge if you are in them. Looking forward to September and the greens rolling smooth and true. And the temps being normal.
First time playing Mid South Golf Course
Best course I’ve played so far. Immaculate conditions, amazing course design, and super organized and friendly staff! Can’t wait to play again!
Boston visits Southern Pines
Down for a golf trip, easily our favorite course for bang for buck. Very accommodating as we were late to our tee time due to the US Open.
Great course
A lot of fun. Play the correct tees. Great condition.
Nice fast greens wonderful manicured course would play it again. Good test for anyone.
Fantastic course
Great shape, stellar maintenance. All-around fantastic experience! Starter talked a little negatively about other courses in the area, but that was the only offputting moment of the day. Highly recommend this course
Great condition
First time playing in the Pinehurst area and loved this course. Hot Deal made for great value in my opinion. Starter let me off earlier than my tee time, since I was playing alone. Finished in 2.5 hours. Wonderful condition!
Great golf course
Beautiful golf course with good fairways and really nice greens
