The Jackson course was in great shape . Difficult but very fair if you hit a good shot.
It was a blustery day with temps only getting to the low 50's , but with the course being in such good shape and the staff being so welcoming that our group totaly forgot about the conditions. The starter was very pleasant and helpful. The course was SWEET. Greens just fast enough to keep you on your toes and the rough high and thick enough to make you work off the tee. All in all everyone in my group enjoyed themselves. This round was the last round for one of our guys (he is having knee surgery) for a while so we are all very glad we chose this course to play. Probably going to play this one or the Jones course when he comes back.
This course has a very good layout with some unique holes that make you think befire you hit your shot.
I found this course (the Rock Barn Jackson course) a lot of fun to play with an assortment of different types of holes to play. The course was somewhat short but seemed to play longer than the yardage. It was a hilly course with many great views of many of the holes. Course condition was good and close to pristine.
nice course for the money
Jackson course is player friendly. You can post a decent score from all tees and go home happy, contrary to Jones Championship course where the average golfer goes home frustrated.
Take a lot of guests to Jackson course and they always like it.
Incredible Value!
I love the Jackson course. It is challenging but reasonable. Tees, fairways and greens are always in great shape.
Very good shape and challenging, very good greens
A course you could play 5 days a week and not get boared at all.
conditions are really good
great shape but too many lay up holes for my liking. greens are very true but tough to read because of terrain
Great day of golf at Rock Barn!
Travelling to Charlotte on business and a friend recommended this course (Jones Course). It’s a bit of a drive but I was very impressed once we arrived. Staff was great and the course was in great shape. We played a few days prior to the course closing for the upcoming Champions Tour stop. They already had some of the stands/ suites up on the course. Great day of golf and we got a great deal on GOLFNOW.
Awesome golf courses.
The Jones course is a little more challenging. The seniors play on The Jones course. The Jackson course is a great course too. You will pleased with the quality of golf here. Both courses are fun to play.
It is always a pleasure to play at Rock Barn.
The Jackson course is well worth the cost. Rock Barn is my favorite place to visit with a friend that's new to the area.
Great course. Staff treated the group very well. Perfect day.
Fortunately, the day that God gave us was beautiful. The course was in excellent condition and there were not tremendous numbers of players on the course. Thus, we were able to play at a leisurley pace without causing any other players any grief. An over-all sensational golfing experience. The greens were rolling at a good pace , but not so quickly as to be a problem for recreational players such as we are. Super.
Great staff, friendly, courteous and accommodating.
I usually play the Jackson course and I play the forward tees because I am not long. Even though the course is overly bunkered, I am not a big fan of bunkers - I find the course a
fair and fun layout to play with ample scoring opportunities.
This is my son's favorite course and definitely one of my all time favorites. A great value for the money.
always in great shape
either course is always in great shape. and very fun to play
Beautiful, clean, and wet
The course is always beautiful. They had recently been working on greens and they were not like they usually are. I would have liked to have been offered a rain check because of the condition of greens. They said nothing about them when I arrived at course and didn't think that was right. It cost a lot to play the Jones Course and I feel I did not get my money's worth
Good value for the price on Golf Now.
I was a little uneasy when I booked at Rock Barn on Golf Now. The last time I had played there about 3 years ago I had found the course staff to be a little rude. I was pleasantly surprised this time . The staff was courteous and left our group feeling like they were glad we were there. The course was in great shape and had a variety of tee areas that made the course playable for all skill levels.
We LOVED it and are planning a return trip
My husband and I stayed Labor Day weekend, taking advantage of the "Stay and Play" package. What a treat! The town home was AMAZING - great price, great accommodations. We golfed 2 rounds on the Jackson course - which was in great shape and perfectly challenging. The Spa is well appointed and offers a great variety of services. We enjoyed a couples massage - AAHHH! This was the PERFECT anniversary getaway for us! We can't wait to go back soon...cheaper than marriage counseling :)
The staff was incredible
What a wonderful staff. From the restuarant to the course , everyone was on top of their game. Great job . Well done
