About Winstar World Casino and Resort
The WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville started as a bingo hall on the Texas-Oklahoma border in 1991 but has grown into the largest casino resort in the world. Nowhere else features a larger collection of electronic games – more than 8,100, plus 100 table games, a 55-table poker room, bingo and more. The 1,399-room hotel complex houses 19 restaurants and 12 bars, a spa and shopping. The 36-hole WinStar Golf Club includes a state-of-the-art golf academy. Both the Scissortail and Redbud courses were expanded to 18 holes in 2017 by D.A. Weibring, a five-time winner on the PGA Tour. The 3,500 Global Event Center regularly showcases big events.Facts

They do it right
Course was in good shape for the end of July, had a few issues with booking of 2 tee times for 8 players for 36 holes but Cory handled it like a pro should. Will defiantly be back nothing to complain about here. Redbud was the more open of the 2, but I preferred scissortail. Suits my game, but both course are nice and the staff is even better from cart girls to pro shop all good…defiantly be back!!!
Great Value
Great value for price. Pro shop is under construction so they have a temp trailer they operate out of.
Course itself was great but a little wet. I know it’s hot which demands the course to be watered but this should definitely be a little more controlled.

In great shape, but...
The course is in great shape because they pour the water to it. I literally had balls plug in the fairways it was so wet. I would like to see it play a little harder and faster.
Very nice golf course
Upon arrival at the parking lot the carts are already delivered to you..They instruct where to start.All I say is all the staffs are doing their job very. well ,friendly and everything.
About course it’s well maintained except some areas are soak probably they were early morning..Our ttm was 7:42 am.
I will surely invite some friends to come play this course.
Sissortail Course
Course was in Great Shape! It plays long for me. Love the Big Greens and shade trees.

Believe it or not but it was so hot, no wind a blowing. Course was in great shape and we can’t wait to go back
Love the course
Course was in great shape as always... 5.5hrs for a round, however, is no fun. Course marshall to keep the pace up would be nice.
Better than expected
Course in great shape..greens were good ad the pace was excellent. The only drawback was a couple of holes were cart path only..but needed the exercise.

This was an excellent golf course, great condition beautiful layout!

Good track and great condition. Club house under renovation but otherwise great facilities and worth playing.
