True beauty and an absolute gem
Amazing experience. The course and scenery are absolutely wonderful - a true Oregon golf experience. All staff from pro shop, beverage service, and starter were super friendly and accommodating. Tees for all skill levels, conditioning of tee boxes, fairways, range, and greens were lush and impeccable. I cannot recommend this course enough, one of the best in the USA you can play. Championship tees 7600+ yards. I will be back anytime I have a chance.
Beautiful views
Well maintained and challenging for all levels of golfers
Great choice for us
Just the right difficulty for us. We always enjoy playing here
Awesome Course and Weather, Bad Pace of Play
This is an awesome golf course with some newly redesigned bunkers that can really penalize you. Everything was good except the pace of play was horrible. Even with a course marshal on duty the round took nearly 5 hours. Inexcusable. Late afternoon with mostly two and threesomes on the course and yet we just slogged along. Waited on virtually every hole. NOT GOOD.
Great course
Beautiful course, paid a value price. I've
played this course many times. unfortunately, the 3 some in front of us
thought their game was better than it was
:)........
Challenging But Fair
The back 9 was for sure the harder of the two. Lot's of dog legs and bunkers well placed. Greens were fast but not unfair.
Outstanding mid June conditions
Nearly perfect greens - smooth, hard, relatively fast (it had rained overnight), flawless. The bunkers were nice and consistent, although they were in the process of being redone. Pace of play was good - 4 hours give or take - which is good for a resort course. I really like the the course layout. There is much more water in play as compared to Sunriver's Woodlands course. Homes on the fairways are set back so as not to be in play. I paid around $100 which I thought was a very good value for the high quality experience on a once a year trip.
Perfect Conditions
This was the second time I played the course. It was in superb condition. I cannot say enough about the greens - totally smooth, fast, flawless. In almost all cases, there were no blemishes on the green to help me line up my putt. The bunkers were also perfect. I got done in under 4 hours..,pretty good for a foursome (a local couple and two out of town singles). I don't usually play at elevation, so I found I had to club down by one to get the correct distance. We played from the Member's tees, a combination of blue and white that put us around 6200-6300 yards. (I'm a 12-13 handicap, with drives around 250.) I paid around $100 via Golf Now for a mid-week round. Considering the quality, I feel it was worth it.
Beautiful course!
Great day of golf... A bit slow play, but course was in great shape. Beautiful weather.
almost great.
The fairways are in great shape and the greens were healed from plugging but only a few were in good shape. it needed more water to help keep in shape.
Greens were Aerified last October. Curious as to what made you feel that only a few were in good shape?
Course in excellent condition
Beautiful course with a great place to stay near by. Would love to come back
More than complements Sunriver's Crosswater Club
Perhaps somewhat lost in the shadow of the more exclusive and tournament worthy Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort, the Meadows Course is no slouch. It's beautiful on every turn, very playable by all levels and surrounded by mountain scenery, marshes and excellent playing conditions. Like its big brother, the course received brand new bentgrass greens a couple years ago, so it's in fantastic shape.
One of the Best in Oregon
I finally got my chance to play Crosswater this fall, and despite some odd and terrible weather still left very fond of this course. The setting alone had us feeling alone out in a meadow with views of the mountains. The course itself was gorgeous, fun and immaculately well maintained. Crosswater is fair, but the greens are fast. Fairways and greens are as true as it gets. I LOVE this course. I want to go back every year.
Must to play course for anyone
First time playing this course. It can be very challenging if you don’t know the yardage. $2 yardage booklet from the Pro Shop will worth the money. I had a great time playing here. Will be back for sure.
One of my favorite courses
I haven't been to Sunriver in at least 15 years and was looking forward to playing the Woodlands Course again. I wasn't disappointed. The course was in spectacular shape from fairways to greens. Even those pesky sand traps! I will return soon!
Beautiful course
Enjoyed playing here very much. Nice destination golf course.
Great callenge, Beautiful views!
One of my favorite courses in the northwest! It is a must play course for everyone.
Excellent track
Over ten years since last played here. Greens and course are in excellent condition. Good warmup course for playing in the area. Very playable and forgiving (wide fairways) for all skill levels. My wife and I had a very enjoyable round. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Great day on a great course
Had a wonderful round on a beautiful course. Course was in great shape and it was a perfect central Oregon day.
Beautiful views, lovely course and friendly staff.
This is our first trip to Bend Oregon, and Sunriver - Meadows was our first golf round of the trip. This course is very playable- if you stay out of the rough it's a straight forward game. Get in the rough even by a yard and you understand the slope and rating! I'd highly recommend this course.
Greens are not close to perfect. They are constantly sanded and constantly slooow.
