Very nice course
The course was in great shape and the staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely play here again!
Nice Greens
Long par 3s Which I like Greens stick great Nice Fairways Must hit straight drives
Pretty nice course.
It was pretty nice overall. The greens rolled really well, except for the cleat marks since they were so soft. It rained all week before I played. The worst thing was the pace of play. The round took over 5 house because of how busy the course was. It was Friday July 3rd though, so I'm sure it was more busy than normal. There were a lot of scrubs with terrible etiquette. Spitting sunflower seeds on every green and hardly ficing pitch marks on the green. The course is nice though. A few holes run next to the road, but the course was nice and challenging. You have to move the ball both directions all over the course.
Nice course north of Pittsburgh
I play all the time on this course. it is in very good shape except for greens which are bumpy. Speed is good, fairways are good. No bunkers. Little greens. Good pace of play. Course seems easy but trees can mess around with you in a hurry. Tee off line and you will be left with no shot to the greens. It is a nice little course overall. The best after Pittsburgh National lay out in that area. $25-$32 would seem fair for that course if you use a cart.
Enjoyed this course. Want to go back again soon.
Long par 3's. Overall it's a well kept course. Beautiful condition..
Paradiso
Overall this is one of the best courses in the area. The course is immaculate. Every foot of the course is cut and manicured. The only negative is the greens are a little bumpy. They could be rolled more. And a few holes are extremely long. Other than that it is a country club quality course. A bit expensive a regular rate of $31 but with Golfnow rate at about $20 well worth the price. If you haven't played this gem don't miss it.
Well maintained
Usually get the hot deal for this course since alittle out of the way for my group, and regular price is on the high side. Unlike another reviewer - I do not care if they know how much I pay to play - I take all discounts and am proud of it........ more $$ for dining at the course eatery - so they make it back anyway. Just a note - they will hold you to the time you reserve, and will pair your group up for a foursome, which is not a problem unless a new playing partner messes with your mojo. The course was in good shape, greens alittle slow and shaggy - sand nice. Course on some holes - noticibly #1 - plays shorter on our GPS than the card. Off the tee, go with the GPS, the fairway markers are accurate. Carts are alittle dated - but do the job for 2 larger golfers. Front is more of a bombers course, the back is alittle more character - 2 severe dog legs and a go for it par 4 that begs to rip it, but be accurate.
All in all, a good course at Golfnow rates - regular rates are higher than other courses in the area that may be more demanding if you're into a challenge. Good course to go low and get some pride back.
nice place to play.
The course was in great condition if u like trees haha. It was a fun yet challenging course, the greens were very well manicured and we're generally quick. Like I said trees do line every fairway so u need to hit the ball straight, but if u do u can score well because the greens were very accessible. All In all a fair yet challenging course and the people at the front desk and the starter were very polite and a pleasure to deal with. Would defiantly return. Thank you
Golfnow customers are treated like a nuisance at Conley
It was a beautiful, sunny day in May. Excited to get out and play some golf, I arrived at the course 30 minutes before my scheduled tee time. I was greeted in the clubhouse with a "hello" and a smile and i was asked for my tee time and last name. Oh... I'm the 11:29. Boy, did the attitude change when the list revealed that I was playing on a Hot Deal from golfnow. I was told to "come back later" at which time they'd sign me in. "Come back later" ?? The course, due to its extreme over-pricing, which I presume is based on its "Resort" status, was completely empty for several holes on the front nine. However, our group was expected to stand in the parking lot and wait, not even permitting us to get our clubs loaded up on a cart. Not a single group tee'd off between the time I arrived and the time they finally let "them golf now fellas" tee off. And then, on top of it all, we were hassled again at the turn by the ranger, who actually mentioned our low rate from golfnow! I couldn't believe it. We left after 11 holes due to the slow play of some ya-hoo's in front of us. The ranger's time would have been better served keeping play moving rather than reminding us of our low rate.
Bottom line, this course is way over-priced. The layout is terrible #look out for the high voltage electric complex on #11, its a bear#. I guess they feel entitled to high-priced "resort" golf based on the row of rat hole motel rooms and the outdated, stink slip-n-slide they call a water park. Not for me. I used to play it once in awhile through golfnow. No longer.
The rude staff and the mistreatment of golfnow customers has ended my stay at this "Resort".
Nice course with long par 3s
I arrived early into the pro show and they had an elderly lady who did not know the system to check us out. In the end she was able to print us slips for the starter (we never did see a starter).
The course is in nice shape, nice greens, medium speed. It would really be nice if the only vending machine they had on the course was working. It was a warm day and they have no water on the course.
I would play this course again, but I would not pay $31 to play it. $31 is way too much money, it's a solid $26 course for sure.
Had a quality time.
Had a great time with my friends on our day off in the sun.
Nice Layout
Fun golf course to play. Will be back again. Great mix of holes and enjoyable to golfers of all ages.
Worth The Drive!!
As an out of town-er, I had all the time to on my vacation to get to Conley. Very rustic setting and peaceful. The course was in good condition. Very cold that day, but the sun warmed up the back nine. Very tricky course and I was lucky to pair up with a father and son duo who play the course weekly. So I had some help to navigate through it. Well worth the drive.
nice place
Very nice course. The lady at the front desk seemed a little snobish. When I told her I already paid for the 4some through Golf Now she was quick to dismiss that and was very confident of her answer. Then seemed ticked off after she looked in the computer and saw I was correct. Other then that I have no complaints. Thanks to golf now I got a price at $30 a man. Don't think Id pay full price though. I found that 6 out of the 18 holes were ranged wrong at the tee boxes. It ranged from 20-50 yards wrong, but the sprinkler heads and range markers on the fairways were accurate. Carts are old but the course is beautiful country. Very well maintained, greens are in tip top shape and fairways where as well. I would definitely return if I find another deal on golf now.
Nice greens
I have always liked this course. But I took a friend who played it for the first time, and he loved the greens. For early in the season they are rolled and cut. They give you a nice reliable read. The course is always in good shape as well. Id recomend it for sure!
The course holds a lot of water after a heavy rainfall
One of the best 'public' courses around this part of pittsburgh, a great course to play. Staff is always friendly and Golf Now always has a deal for this course...'better grab it' before someone else!!
Great Value - Well Run Course
Nothing bad to say about this place. Glad they are on GolfNow!
Always a pleasant experience playing there.
Greens
Course was very wet but to be expected after 3 days of rain. Greens in excellent shape!
Hole 10-11 still freaks me out, with overhead power lines.
Raining Day
When we were driving to the course the weather was lovely. Got the first hole in then it started raining pretty bad. Went back to the club house of about 20 minutes. The sun started to come out, when at played 3 holes, again the rains came. So we only played 4 holes, really only 3, the last hole was in the rain also. Not a good experience. Not sure how rain checks work on Groupon. So really paid for nothing (or not much).
Well Maintaned
I played Conley Resort on 4/1/15 at the awesome price of $12 each. Actually about $16 after the sign up fee. Never the less a great price. The course was well maintained and dry considering how early it is. The only negative was the greens were a little slow and bumpy compared to the summer fast smooth greens that are Conley's norm. This is a great course any time of the year.
