Very slow play, no rangers
Conleys has always had problems with slow play and they have not ever had a ranger to address the problem. The course was in ok condition although their greens were kind of shaggy even though we've had a lot of rain this summer.
Great course and great value
Conley is a nice somewhat older course with really nice people who work there. It is part of a small resort and the course is kept up very nice. They take good care of the course, with bunkers in nice shape and maintained, as well as the areas under trees (landscaped veyr nice). The greens tend to be smaller than a lot of other courses which is a good way to provide more of a challenge since it is a shorter course than anything built in the last 20 years.
When I went this August, they had an outing in the morning and the people in the outing had brought more people than was originally required. The people who worked there were nice enough to make sure that everyone was able to get out on time and they drove people out onto the course so that we didn't have to wait, and they were very accommodating.
I really like playing there. There are closer courses, but I try to get there a couple of times a year. The layout has enough variety to be interesting and there are several holes that you can play in a couple of different ways.
Well Maintained, Nice Course
Nice course, a little short but challenging enough to make up for the lack of distance. They try to charge $62 on weekend mornings, but it's a $40 course, and I'd never pay $62 to play there. GolfNow rates are excellent for this course and are well worth it.
There is a few good golf holes
Course was green, mixed crowd. Greens were slow for my taste, but rolled nice.
Terrible Pace of play
Played 9 holes in 2 hours and 45 min. When I called the clubhouse to try and tell them that it was way to slow the lady, Renee tried to convince me that I would be able to finish the last 3 holes in 15 min so we would be on pace for a 4 1/2 hour round. She was off the mark, just trying to convince herself she was right. I will never return to Conley, have had this type of problem before and nothing was done about it, Golf is not a fun sport when it takes forever.
Great Price
Great price for 18 holes w/ cart which included weiner Wednesday.
great condition
It was nice day. The course was clean and the green was maintained well. I feel like that I would play with my friends soon.
Always Nice
I love the layout. The corse is always in good shape but the pace of play here is always very very slooooooow...
nice fast greens. very well maintained.
Nice layout of course. Well marked for yardage.Greens great shape.
Yardage is way off. Greens were nice but slow. Needed cut
Good deal for $18 through Golfnow but would not pay asking rates. Yardage is off by up to 40-50 yards per hole. Greens were nice and rolled well but slow.
great course for the money
Course is wide open. We hit some terrible shots and never really found a lot of trouble.
Course was in great shape and the greens rolled true. A little slow for my liking but still good.
No real gimmicky holes on the course.
I would recommend this course for golfers seeking a good bargain.
One negative is that there is no driving range.
The course has challenging holes
The course is at a great location, nicely maintained and affordable. The staff was very friendly and the grounds crew very considerate. I have played this course before and never had a bad experience.
Very slow play
Overall the course was in great shape for early July. However, the course was very slow. We had to wait to tee off on almost every hole.
Nice course, needs managed
Great price for a 4some from Golf Now. Course in good shape but very slow play, no ranger on the course.
Slow greens and overpriced short course
Course is extemely expensive for the condition. Greens are very thick and bouncy. Yardage signage and scorecards are way off. No par 5s on a very short back 9. There is a pond on 17 with no movement system so an unpleasant green moss accumulates on the surface. Go play suncrest right down the road for a better time.
great day for golf
course was great even after a hard rain the night before, even got complimentary food at the turn!
Beautiful Course, but too exepensive.
This course is one of the nicest in the area. Unfortunately, the marketed rate for 18 holes and a cart is over $50. I doubt I will return since there are many other great courses nearby at a fraction of the cost. I was disappointed with the old gas golf carts and the rate of play. From what I could tell, It looks like a high school golf team practices here (or some similar aged group). I was stuck behind them. Loud, slow, and obnoxious to say the least.
Fun course
This course gets a ton of play it seems like all the time. For how much play is done the course is in great condition. I really like the greens here, soft, good roll, and pretty straight. The rough is deep and it's easy to lose balls in if you don't watch it carefully. Overall a great choice if your are in the area!
always in nice condition
always great shape, little slow day we played. regular pricing little high but great deal with discounts
Great course!
This was an awesome deal! Thank you GolfNow!!! Not only was this a hot deal, but I had a 25% coupon for my birthday!!!
