Linden Hall

About Linden Hall
Linden Hall touts itself as "one of Pennsylvania's best secrets". This 785-acre estate is home to a historic 74-room lodge and a 6,405-yard golf course that winds up and down the region's rolling hills. The 8,720-square-foot Linden Hall mansion contains 35 rooms, 27 fireplaces, 13 baths, an indoor bowling alley and walk-in clothes dryer. An Aeolian pipe organ, one of three in the world, could be heard throughout the first and third floors when played. Today, the mansion, dating to 1913, is used by the United Steel Workers of America. The Club Pub restaurant overlooking the 18th fairway, a heated outdoor pool and hiking/biking trails are available.Facts

As expected
I have come to expect that the course at Linden Hall will always be in great condition and I am never disappointed. It is a great course at a good price and one that will please golfers.

One of my favorites
Excellent course…management continues to improve and maintain the course. Linden Hall is open enough for the average golfer. If you get into trouble it’s because of you not the layout. Hole #13 has an amazing view of Southwest Pennsylvania. Great pub for sandwiches and brews at the 19th hole too.

Course was in excellent condition. Much praise to the greens keeper and his staff. Food was not available when we played but was to be available 5/2/22. Overall, loved the course.
Linden Hall Laurel Highlands
Really enjoyed this rolling course in the Laurel Highlands of Western PA. Played as a single and moved along well on a early Friday Afternoon. Would recommend if in the area
Excellent from tee to green
My only complaint is some of the senior tee boxes need a little work. Other than that the course was excellent.
First impressions
I brought a friend here and it was his first time here. The course was in great condition even with the maintenance around some greens. Fairways cut perfect as well as the rough. The course made a great first impression on my friend and can’t wait to come play again.

Was told cart path only. After getting out on the course there was zero reason for it. It slowed play dramatically to say the least. I might of understood a 90 degrees only. Was also paired up with 2 total strangers which was strange since the group behind us was only a twosome.
