Would Play Again
I played at the full rate because I anticipated a more crowded course later in the day even though the greens (and fairways?) were punched. Knew about the greens but not the fairways because of the alert on GolfNow. Recent rains meant the fairways were wet so no rollout and a few plugged shota or mudballs. A long day in terms of second shots; I had 200 yards in multiple times with no 5 iron (do not carry it) and a hybrid which was .. uncooperative. A lot of scrambling to make bogey with only 3 GIR. Liked the layout and would like to play under fast and firm links conditions as long as greens are a realistic speed; I can imagine these are the only defense and are quite fast in the summer.
Not worth it
Greens were terrible. Not worth playing. Greens were the worse for a 4 star resort, and the group I golf with all said this is not a well maintained course
Bedford Springs Old Course
Excellent course, especially for the teeoff price that I got. Green aerated recently, so a bit bumpy. Overall, It was a great day on a beautiful course in late fall.
Luv the Springs
I'm a homer... but ... fall golf at Bedford Springs is the best
Staff is great
Value is great
Course is great
My favorite
Beautiful layout. Greens recently punched so not perfect. Conditions great despite a week of rain. Got a great deal.
classic course
If you know anything about course design you could stand on the tee of many of the holes and know who designed it. Conditions couldn't have been better. Taking a divot almost made you feel guilty of marring the fairways. Greens were fast but fair. Starter (Fred?) was great. I loved every minute of it. Ranger was helpful to allow our three some play through a slow foursome around the 6th hole.
Wet
The course has an incredible layout! Great teeboxes. Except everything on the course was wetter than a potty training toddler’s bed!
A absolute gem. A must play! I highly recommend if your budget will allow it.

Wondering if you have the wrong course here.... this course's conditions are always superb. Consistently ranks high nationally for course conditions as well, for good reason.
This review can't be the right course. This is one of the best maintained course in the USA!
