I don’t know if I’ve ever enjoyed a round more. I’m a 14.9 handicap and shot an 86 from the white (Tillinghast) tees, so I was really happy with how I played. That might’ve made the round feel even better. But what a tremendous golf course. It’s challenging, but everything is right in front of you. There’s not a gimmick to be found. If you get off the tee, you’ll be fine. I used my 5-wood quite a bit, so be ready for short par 4s and some long approaches too. Greens so challenging to read, which was fun. The staff was awesome, prepping me for my round with excellent advice for handling the course. And the conditions were immaculate. Plus - bonus! - my wife said the spa treatment at the resort while I played was the best she’s had. It’s a resort, plays like a resort, treats you like a resort, so it has resort green fees. But to be honest I would probably pay even more - it’s that good.

It is a beautiful course, but it is very expensive for the location. We use to play this course for $20.00 when the resort was closed. The course is in great shape.

I wish they would drop their prices for the golf.

Found the track to be in perfect condition for late summer . Every fairway groomed better then the previous , I found greens to be very challenging and mostly 2 putted 15 out of 18 ! The only negative they charged $49,00 for my wife to ride along as I was a single , My opinion a bit steep for a weekday rider , Other then this one item a perfect place to treat yourself to a round of golf .. Planning to go back again in October 2024.

The course, service and golf play were all absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to come back.

It’s hard to give enough compliments to the Old Course. It’s shorter than some bc of its age, but it makes up for the lack of distance with difficult tests of your shot making ability. Technical and difficult but also extremely approachable and fun. I will be back for sure.

We pulled up to the coure and we were treated like royalty from start to finish. The starter's greeted us by pulling a cart up to our car with a smile and at nice greeting. The practice facility and the putting green were awesome. They could not have been anymore accommodating. We felt like we remembers of a private country club. The course itself was a very nice layout with challenging greens. If you hit good shots, you were rewarded, if you hit bad shots you were in trouble. The rough was really rough. I have played Saucon Valley old course. This course was also right on par with one of the best private country clubs in the state. There was not a blade of grass or a bit of sand out of place. The maintenance staff deserves five stars. If you want the experience of a lifetime in golf and don't want to travel around the world, this is the place to go. We had a bite to eat afterwards at Tilleys and our waitress Tina was outstanding.

A little pricey but definitely worth it. Tyler in the pro shop was awesome as well as the starter. Course is so much fun and a little tricky. The greens were pretty quick and challenging

This was an excellent experience. Played it in the afternoon on my birthday, and every part of it was a treat. The course was in great shape. The greens were true and rolling nicely. The staff was friendly and helpful. The holes presented some challenge but didn't leave you wanting to break your clubs. The amenities are what you want out of a resort club. I look forward to coming back soon!

Fun old school layout - course is in great condition and cool to play a course worked on by Tillinghast and Ross (not to mention Oldham). Main concern is that for some inconceivable reason given the original architects, there are absolutely no accommodations for walkers. Zero footbridges over the numerous creeks and wetland areas (several times you have to walk off to the side to the cart paths), no walking paths between holes (to tees), no rakes in bunkers (they’re on the carts), etc. The layout is imminently walkable but when we asked about the rakes, we were told it’s not really a walking course. I know it’s a resort course, but it would be so much better if they put in just a little effort to make it a better walking experience.

Always is a pleasure to play this pristine and historic layout. Conditions were excellent and pace of play was superb. Sadly, at the full price asked it’s really only available to few players to enjoy. After 3 rate is $189 on weekends and could be much less.

The course was in excellent condition and it was a beautiful Nov day. This is one of my favorite courses.

The course was in superb condition, especially for this time of year, and it was truly a joy to play! Everything from the resort itself to the staff in the clubhouse and course, to the layout and care of the course is top notch. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is always a plus. Highly recommend and look forward to playing again soon!
