The Chapel Creek Plantation is home to 12 villas located on the first fairway of the Santee National Golf Club. Each villa is decorated with a Southern architectural theme that includes two bedrooms (4 total beds), two baths, laundry and a kitchen. Its golf packages with golfsantee.com can be customized to include breakfast at Clark's Restaurant or the Quality Inn & Suites. Santee National dates to 1989 and challenges players with rolling hills, mossy oaks, 40 bunkers and five water hazards. It is one of several courses available in area golf packages.Facts

Great course
Played most courses in and around Charleston and this place is well worth the short drive. Great conditions (except for the bunkers) and very nice layout. Will be back for sure!
Play it!
Busy day and the pace wasn’t perfect but tolerable. Better than I-95 the Monday after Christmas. Nightmare there. Course was in great condition. One green had some funky stuff but all others were good. Staff were very friendly. Pimento cheese sandwich was tasty! Would play again any day.
Great course, great people
What a gem of a course. Nice that I was able to get on without a huge wait but surprised that more people don’t know about it. I have played many courses in SC and this is one of the top courses I have played and the price is incredible for the course. Everyone I met was really nice and the team in the clubhouse made me feel welcome. Go play this course you will not be disappointed.

Great layout small greens
Very nice, extremely affordable… old school layout with small greens…. Got to get them irons working to have fun!!!
The best course away from City life
The course in great shape. Starts of straight and then challenges you to stay on the fairway and reach the greens. A couple of long Par 3s and challenging Par 4s and 5s. While the front 9 is refreshing, the back 9 is intimidating.
Excellent Value/Beautiful Course
Santee Nation is a hidden gem of a golf course. About an hour from Charleston SC, the course offers
a combination of dog leg left and right holes, so all aspects of your game come in play. The fairways are in excellent shape and the greens run true. I have a 15 handicap and have no problem shooting in the mid 80's. In short, the course is a blast to play, and I make it a part of my Charleston golf rotation.

Somewhat challenging with the fast but true greens.

Greatest little course I run into in years!
Buying large most of the grains are in great shape the fairways in great shape. The cramps or a little hard but it'd be a good golfer you should avoid the traps. Definitely recommend anybody passing through Santee South Carolina to try this course.!

Mixed Bag
Fairway grass was generally too high due to reseeding, deferred mowing and ongoing seasonal maintenance. Greens were in good shape and ran true. There was quite a bit of standing water in fairways which I could only imagine was due to heavy watering as there has been little rain lately. Course is well designed and picturesque. A better review would likely be warranted under normal circumstances..

Decent but some amenities needed
Decent course, some wet spots, folks in the clubhouse were good.
Had a hot deal for $35, better price point than standard rate $64 or so.
