Vacationing from Chicago, 1st. Time out this season. The course is Very good to get your game back after a 5 month hiatus.
Staff was very nice and helpful.
Sand traps were a mess, so we played no sand Sunday. LOL

One time experience
Played last year, I was very impressed with condition. This year I played it in the middle afternoon. Green looked like Bagdad. People not fixing ball marks at all. Because last year I played it early morning and the course was in amazing condition I si recommend it

Came for the replica holes. Returning for the quality.
I initially came here to play since it has replicas of famous holes. I didn’t expect such an amazingly manicured course. I didn’t see any faults anywhere. Great value and lovely course.

River Oaks
The only change I would suggest is tee change. Difference between white tees and next tees up are roughly 1000 yards. Move whites up a little and other tees back a little so gap is around 500 yards between the two tees. Whites are a little long for us 70 plus boys and next tees up to short.
