Bunker condition not on par with the rest of the course
Tees and fairways were in good condition
Greens were very firm but the turf was very nice and putts rolled true.
The bunkers were absolutely unplayable. They should either decide to maintain them or turn them into grass bunkers. It’s difficult to understand why a course would let their bunkers become simply matted mud/dirt.
Slow play
First nine was enjoyable with steady pace of play. Start of 2nd nine was a backup of 2 groups thAt were put there to start instead of first hole We waited every hole. There was no one in front for 3 or 4 holes but they would not let us play thru, we were a twosome. Dissappointing
Great cours for seniors
Back nine better shape than front. Greens in perfect shape for this time of year. Two of us played round in 3 hours excellent.
Nice layout
Course was very nice with great layout. But the sand traps could use some work. Some were so hard you couldn't get the club under the ball. But would still play again.
Needs improvement
The women that golfed with us said that they should have restrooms on the coarse instead of port’s potties.
Coarse was average in difficulty.
Excellent course, friendly staff
Fun, playable layout, excellent shape. Friendly staff.
Good day
Needed a practice course and this fit the bill. Challenging enough and pretty.
Good day at River Oaks
Played here early April and the coarse was in good shape, especially the greens as they ran true. Fairways were in good shape for this time of year and the tee blocks were fine.
Good value for the money which was $62:00 US
Being Canadian playing golf in April is a treat and a head start for the season
Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.
My only critique would be to update the carts to electric.from the antique gas models.
Go To Course in MB
As always. By the airport. Great condition. Great price. Always crowded but great starters and. Marshals
Best course we played during our trip
Course was in great condition. We do not see a lot of green rough in this area. This course had the best grass we’ve seen. Cheaper than other courses too and better in my opinion. Lots of fun
