Front 9 greens were ok, back 9 not so much!

Overall conditions were poor!

Nice course keep working on the improvements. Staff was excellent. Course layout was awesome . Green fees a little too much for this course

Haven't played Bent Creek in 4 years; course in much better shape than I remember. Fairways and Greens were well manicured. I missed getting to play the 14th as the staircase was closed for renovation. End of October was gnat bug free making the round much more enjoyable. Will definitely play again next time i'm in the area.

Played today, gorgeous fall weather and no gnats! Beautiful foliage color change and improved conditions. Green conditions greatly improved and all traps groomed very well. 14th hole remains a temporary layout pending new access paths. Cart paths were asphalted this past year and we didn’t see conditions noted on past review. Staff super friendly and pricing reasonable.

I enjoyed the diversity of the layout even the challenging back nine holes with twists, turns and hazards. Had fun playing this course.

First of all, the track itself has very nice eye appeal. So much potential.

The gnats were unbelievably unforgiving. Every hole, every shot they are in your eyes- ears— everywhere.

The greeens were like putting on a plinks board. Sorely needed mowing(super slow), crabgrass sprouting.

Fairway rough and green collar rough is punishing in that the ball sinks down so low that the only way you can find it is if you stepped on it.

The mowers leave dead grass everywhere and we must have mistaken our errant shots a dozen times with chewed up golf ball ores.

We one of our group suggested we play this course again…we were silent for a moment and we all busted up laughing.

I HAVE Played over 500 courses and normally shoot in the high 70s…NEVER AGAIN.

This course has so much potential, but this is the worst golf experience I have ever encountered.

This was one of THE worst courses I have played in 18 years. The biggest problem by far was the gnats! They swarmed everywhere – in your ears, mouth, eyes, and nose. They were such a distraction it was hard to make a correct swing of the club. Next, let’s talk about “ground under repair”. Yes, they told us it was cart path only on holes 1 & 4. But on the holes, themselves there were no flags/stakes telling you where the problem was. So, guess who stepped into a large section of mud that had a light grass cover. The greens needed cut very badly. I could tell because 1.) they were extremely slow and 2.) the crabgrass on the greens surface was sticking up past the normal grass. Made for fun putting! Last but not least the 3” long grass clippings left all around the greens meant a bump and run was a real challenge. We quit after #16 – it was just too frustrating to continue.

Course was horrible. NEVER coming back. Cart paths were horrible. Never flat or smooth. The greens were rolling like it was a fairway. They had crabgrass coming out all over the green. There were tee boxes with more dirt and weeds then grass. The bunkers were hard with weeds covering the sand. I would recommend you save your money and your time and find somewhere new. Never coming back.

Played this course for the first time today and NEVER will again. The cart path was horrible. Never was there one smooth part of the path. There were tee boxes with more weeds and dirt then grass. The greens were slower then fairways that i’ve played on. The greens had crabgrass growing all over and unrepaired ball marks everywhere. I had paid 40$ a person for 18 and I think the round was worth half of that price. I would never return.

The course was in good condition except the greens were a bit sandy. Great price and challenging with several blind drives or approaches. FUN Course! I will play it again.

The views! Greens were being sanded, and the size of postage stamps. Cart paths are terrible, but there's work being done to route the water. What lacks in overall green and fairway quality is made up for in views for the price.

I like the course and the layout, but the back 9 is closed due to cart path repair and the greens are aerated. If you are here on vacation you might want to call before you go. We only had 1 day to play and was a little disappointed we couldn't play the whole course.

Well done course with great views. The cart paths are in need of an update.

Enjoyed the morning! Rough was playable...last year lost several balls just off fairway that should have easily been found. The greens aren’t bad...players should be courteous and repair their ball marks, plus a couple more! You shouldn’t expect Augusta National on a public track. The young lady at the pro shop was very nice and polite. I will play again when we come back to the area.

I know it was November but there was no discernible difference between fairway and rough. They couldn’t even put the flags upright in the holes. The front nine jams nine holes into an 8-hole area. The back nine was much more interesting aside from the par three teeing off artificial turf. I would recommend Sevierville, Gatlinburg, or River Islands before here.

Called 3 times this morning to try and find out if course was open. Nobody in the club house

would ever answer, so they lost a customer.
