About Lake Tansi Village Resort
The Lake Tansi Village Resort is actually home to four lakes (Tansi, Geronimo, Hiawatha and Mohawk) that provide guests and home owners an abundance of water activities. Guests stay in lakefront cabins and have access to the marina and its boat rentals, the beach, community events, the 6,701-yard public Lake Tansi course and two restaurants, the 19th hole at the golf course and the Lake Tansi Restaurant Bar and Grill.Facts

A great time!
We played Really fun couples scramble and enjoyed the company of Glen and Sandy for the first time. Hope to be able to do it again soon.
Great Track
We enjoyed this course so much. We are staying at Fairfield Glade Resort where there’s 5 courses, all wonderful, but if you want bang for your buck, I highly recommend Lake Tansi. We were paired with the nicest guy who plays Tansi often and he was so helpful with his course knowledge. The course is in great shape, the greens roll true and the pace of play was excellent.

Course is I great shape. Greens still recovering from aerating and sanding.

Loved this course. Outstanding conditions. Only flaw was the greens were just aerated and they covered them with sand. It was like putting at the beach. Couldn’t play spin at all.

Greens had just been aerated and sanded which is a good thing but putting was challenging. Course is in great shape. Cudos to the grounds crew.

The Lake Tansi course us in good shape year round.
Most everything was good so I gave it the 3 star because it was a good course just the experience was average. There were 2 things that kept it from a higher rating and that’s because they’re 2 of the more import things to me as a young and average golfer. Pace of play was not the greatest. Me and my partner had never played so we’re exploring and all that and still had to wait on several tee boxes for 3 locals in front of us. Also had the group behind us say they were going to tee off with us on #1, but we were never informed of that in the clubhouse. We did wind up tee off as separate groups after watching the group in front of us. Greens were also the firmest I’ve ever encountered. I can always get a 60° to stick if not come back a couple feet and almost all my approach shots with it and other wedges ran off or to the back of the green. They were great for putting but getting an approach shot to stay without using the high slopes of the green to hold it was tough for most of the holes. The workers were friendly for the most part and it was a good course layout, but the stiff greens and pace of play were the things that kept it at 3 stars rather than 4 or even possibly 5. I did enjoy my round though and would like to come back sometime soon.
