Ok course
Nothing extraordinary about course. If this is a top ten course as advertised then that’s not saying much about Tennessee golf. I’d play again for the right price. Expectations were a lot higher based on advertisements
Greens are in great shape along with the tees.Rate of play was slow due to 4some in front as they spent more time watching there ball. Other than that great experience.
Course was great shape. Greens were very good shape. Very busy when I played.
Challenging, Scenic Golf Course
The members of this retirement community golf course take pride in their facility. The course was well-manicured, and there were very few unrepaired ball marks on the greens (a rarity these days). Lake Tansi has a full-course irrigation system and they use it. I played in the middle of a mini-drought and the fairways and greens were still plush.
The pace of play was pretty good; I played as a single and was able to play through a couple of foursomes, finishing in just over 3 hours.
Bad service
The staff were hateful and demeaning! Pretty expensive course for the staff to be rude and not want to do their jobs!
Rude people...
The staffs are very rude and kind of discrimination...
My worst golf experience ...
Heads up on Maintenance.
Would have liked a heads up on the greens being punched. Seemed an odd time, being it’s a holiday weekend. Outside of that, it was a great course. Staff was organized and friendly. Club house was great. I’ll definitely be back. Hope next time the greens are rolling.

Lake Tansi tougher than the scorecard shows
Enjoyed the course. Staff were nice. Starter was helpful. Greens in great shape.
Great course, Great staff, Great value
A group of us played our first ever round at this course yesterday. We were greeted by an awesome guy in the clubhouse who gave us first class service, friendly course advice and treated us like royalty visitors from out of town (Frank was his name).
Fairways were in really good shape, fairly narrow, but very green!
Greens rolled excellent and were challenging.
We would play again, the price was more than fair!!
Thx, Al
Good course conditions but have been better
We were happy not to be pestered by a course Marshall today as has happened in the past. Course conditions were good but have been better. They raised the prices this year and traffic appears to be down as a result but you should get more for your money, not less. Still it’s much better than most of the local courses outside of Fairfield Glade.
Good place to play.
You have to think about what you’re doing. It’s not that the course is real long but it is a tactical course The greens were in good condition. They rolled true If I had an opportunity here I would play it a second time this week
Average
Greens were in good shape. The fringe on over half the greens were real rough. The rough was needing a cut and nine of the fairway divots were repaired well. A long list of rules and priced as a very nice course but lacked the luster. Overall it was ok but I’d probably look for another course in town.

Perfect Day of Golf at Lake Tansi
Our round at Lake Tansi Golf Club was possibly the best I've played, in terms of course conditions, design, friendliness of staff, and everything else. I played with my two sons, and we did an informal scramble. The course was gorgeous and perfectly maintained. And lunch at the 19th Hole after our round was delicious! My highest recommendation.
Great Course, very unfriendly staff
Love the golf course, excellent condition
but other than one starter did it get his name
the staff, workers were very snooty.
Really made me feel uncomfortable, kind of want a be shooters.
This is a regular golf course in Tennessee that is in phenomenal condition and fun to play but the people/ staff are not very friendly, I’m trying to be diplomatic but they all need customer satisfaction training, this is Crossville Tn not Riviara in Los Angeles . They all could use some Disney training !!
Its a gem
A must play when we come to Crossville or The Glades. Always in beautiful condition. Challenging and interesting play. Staff is great and clubhouse staff is welcoming. Menu is great and lots of choices. Highly recommend playing there!
Hello, thank you for taking the time to review Lake Tansi Village Country Club. We sorry to hear you may have had a negative experience with any individual on our staff. This is not acceptable and by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We welcome any further feedback as to why you gave 1 star and what we can do to improve.
