Approach to the par-5 14th hole Photo submitted by ShragMagtite on 09/30/2019
Don’t sleep in this course.
Although the rough winter took its toll on Tansi like many other courses this winter. Tansi is a great little course not overly long but challenging on second shots and if you don’t hit the green on the par 3’s you are flirting with double bogey. The rough in summer is a true rough where you want to hit the fairway or club up to a well bunker protected green. Every other winter Tansi stays green year round, they punch and do maintenance slightly earlier then the rest so they are prime while your playing ‘plinko’ on other courses. I look forward to the warm weather so I can play this course and have an Irish Mule at the Tansi Grill.
Winter golf
The course was in excellent shape. Staff is always a pleasure.
Augusta ish!!
Love this course. Very playable with slick undulating greens
Nice Course Just Wet
The course was in good shape but very wet. it was cart path only witch made the round slow enough, and they allowed walkers that didn't help either. So all and all a slow round.
Nice course
Good layout and nice greens. Played a little slow but not to bad.
Beautiful Layout
Really nice course, friendly players, very slow play on Thursday October 8th, 2020 as a scramble (Multiple Foursomes) started ahead of us at 1:15pm, which delayed our 1:46pm by 20 minutes. Our two-some finished the 18th hole in the dark at 6:15pm. The course was challenging from the Senior (Gold Tees). Overall the gold course was in excellent shape, fairway cuts, rough grass area cuts, fringes and greens were in top shape. I would recommend playing the course!
Pro shop and restaurant staff were not friendly. Outside staff was friendly. Course was overbooked and very slow! Grounds were nice.
Great Mountain Gem
Course was in excellent shape and the staff was wonderful. Pace of play on Saturday was slow but it was busy and you have to expect that on a public course on weekends. Played again on Sunday and pace was dead on 4:15 round. Will definitely be back to this course.
