Approach to the par-5 14th hole Photo submitted by ShragMagtite on 09/30/2019
Great value
Carts, greens, fairways, and general overall experience above average. I will continue to go back as long as the course condition stays like it played on 5/14/2018. Steve raabe
Good value for the money
Compared to other courses in the area, this was great value. Course conditions were pretty good and the layout required some thinking. Will definitely return.
Really wet the day we were there.
Nice course. Played there several times. It was extremely wet the day we went and cart path only. Few of guys in my group said they would never go back if cart path only. Overall a good course.
Lake Tansi
Played in the afternoon and had a great time. The course was in good condition, T's, and fairways. The greens were in ok shape. A lot of pitch marks and some rough places from aeration not quite healed.
Tansi 5/2/18
Excellent course conditions. No interference from fast players behind nor slow players in front. I was paired by GolfNow with a couple who did not exhibit good "golf manners" (walking on an playing partners line of putt, no concept of "honors" ND EXCESIVE cursing.)and did not have a skill set equal to mine (which I must admit are somewhat lacking it its own right). Enjoyed the round anyway.
Don’t let first 2 holes fool you
Great layout. Rough is a little long and causes time delay looking for ball. Greens had not recovered from punching but were extremely fast with a lot of undulations
Nice course. I will be back
The course was in great shape, greens had not healed completely so hard to give an overall excellent rating. Hole eight had a large wood pile blocking view of fairway from Blue tees but it didn’t obstruct play.
Play on 12 was difficult as I was hungry and the restaurant off the tee was smelling absolutely wonderful.
I will be back and I will bring my wife to play also.
Bumpy greens
This is the first time we played this course. It had rained several days before our play & it was cart path only which is understandable. The greens still need a week or so to recover from aeration. The staff was friendly & the course is reasonably priced.
Course is in great shape
Enjoyed playing the course. It has lots of characters and well maintained. Since it was my first time playing the course, I looked forward to see the layout of the next hole. Very NICE course!
Nice to see the color green
The course overall was in good condition. The greens still have not completely healed from a recent Top dressing and punching., The staff was very friendly.
Good Layout
The course was in good shape, but the greens were bumpy due to airation.
Great Value
We played on actual green grass! This was the 8th round we played on our vacation to Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. This course was in the best shape of any we played. It is a very playable course and we enjoyed it very much.
Conditions should’ve been reported
Staff kept telling me I didn’t need to use GolfNow because of fees. I don’t pay fees with GN. After accusing me of being an idiot for using GN we went to the course where the driving range was closed due to being too wet. Greens were aireated and you literally sunk to your ankles in mud in the middle of the fairway. Lost 3 balls due to them plugging in the fairway. Course was unplayable! Not worth 35.00 in those conditions. I’m sure it will be better in the future but they need to post the conditions b4 charging you 35.00 for a mud bath!
Lake Tanzi
Course was immaculate as usual. Greens very well maintained and consistent. Just a fantastic course. Pro shop attendant and some staff could be a bit friendlier but not rude by no means.
Great overall experience as usual!!!
Great Course even at this tome of the year
Lake Tansi is always kept in great condition even for this time of the year they had punched the greens in preparation for aeriating but they weren’t bad. The only draw back to the round was a slow group in front of us that we caught up on the front 9 , they were not playing ready Golf. Then in the back we caught up to a group of 5, they could have let us play thru but they did not. I wish they would remind people to play ready golf if they have people waiting behind them!
Great Course to play for winter conditions
Considering all the rain and cold weather the course was in good condition with a few rough areas. The only complaint is after we made the turn there were two groups in front and the twosome group ahead of the group in front of us was really slow. It was too cool to stop and continually wait so we skipped two holes so we could finish.
For a public course it is well maintained.
This course is not the longest, but it is protected the the greens which are generally fast. The back nine is the tougher of the two, and the final two holes are a test to your game.
Lots of fun
Very nice course. We teed off at 12:30 figuring we would be lucky to finish 18 holes before dark. Pace of play was perfect and we finished up about 4:00. Great round.
