Great value(Hot deal)
Played this course several times this week on a father son golf trip. Well maintained and very nice layout.
Really Nice
Can't beat the course conditions.....we rode but a very easy track to walk.......Gotta love a great bent grass greens.......
You will like it
They rolled the greens this morning and they were fast and broke a lot. The greens we're very nice and the course was well-manicured
great value
I played the Lake Tansi course twice last week. It is a great value booked on Golf Now. Nice layout and course conditions. I will be back.
Awesome course with great features
First time playing this course, while vacationing at another golf destination.was recommend to me while playing with a couple of guys few days earlier.it was all that they said it would be.would recommend it to anyone, great value, great food in the restaurant, very friendly staff.
Lake Tansi
Nice course. Well maintained. Wide open fairways and a few well placed bunkers.
Lake Tansi Review
Our group was very disappointed in course. Always have bragged on Tansi. Grass was extremely high. Wish we were told about conditions before driving 11/2 hrs. Only good thing was price we got on golfnow.
Cold but good.
The weather was cold and windy but the course was in good shape for late November.
Lake Tansi, Where old slow golfers go to die!
The course was in EXCELLENT SHAPE. The dreadfully slow play on a full course ruined the day! One foursome of old ladies (Don't get me wrong, I'm Seventy 70), took over 30 minutes to play a par Five Dogleg left. From the time they left the previous green to the time they reached the par five green was THIRTY MINUTES!!!! When I finally gave up waiting, they were just short of the green LOOKING FOR THEIR GOLF BALLS!!! COM'ON MAN!!! There were several "MOLASSES IN JANUARY" groups on the course and they were not all women. The Ranger went by these groups several times evidently without saying a word about their atrocious speed of play. Tansi, thanks for nothing.
Fun to play
Nice layout with less than normal hazards. Beautiful sand in the bunkers , greens are true and in great shape. There are some thin areas in the fairways and tee boxes are narrow, otherwise a nice course to play for the price.
Hidden gem!
We didn't know about this course until we looked on GolfNow. This is our second trip to this area. The Fairfield Glade has 5 fine courses but I wouldn't overlook this one because it's a few miles away. My wife also enjoyed the challenge. Not too hard to enjoy the day but not too easy to get bored.
Great price, nice layout, sloooow greens
Decided to play Lake Tansi over Bear Trace due to the positive ratings. The layout is very nice and the price was unbeatable, $14 with fees. The staff seemed friendly and helpful. The only ding on this course was the greens. They were extremely slow and bumpy. It seems they punched them a couple weeks ago, but I guess they hadn't fully recovered. Also, the carts are very nice electric models that worked perfectly.
Great course, great layout
Great course played it three times this trip, beats Bear Trace hands down , Bear Trace way over rated .Did have to play front 9 back to back was unaware of high school tournament was going on got really confusing.
Excellent Golf Course
The layout was great, the condition was wonderful, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anybody in the Crossville area.
This course is in great shape
Enjoyed whole day. One of best courses I have ever played. Have already recommended this course to friends and looking forward to our next tee time there.
Very friendly coarse
Great golf coarse. Very player friendly. Staff super helpful.
Beautiful course
The course was Iin excellent condition even in the midst of a very hot and humid summer. Fun layout with lots of challenges, but still playable for the less than great golfer. Will definitely play again!
Weather intervention
It was a washout. Played three holes, then the lightning forced the course to shut down. What I got to experience was very nice, though. Lush fairways and smooth, quick greens. I'm disappointed I didn't get to finish my round.
