Approach to the par-5 14th hole Photo submitted by ShragMagtite on 09/30/2019
Worth a round
I enjoy playing this course. Sometimes it's a little slow but so are most nice courses. Hole by hole book in cart is a big plus for first timers.
Great Course
I've played this course numerous times. It's one of the nicest courses I've played. Always brag about Tansi to my buds at work. Price is good for the quality of the course. My brother and I got a deal on golfnow.com for $14 for 18+ a cart.
Conditions
From the T boxs to fairways to green
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lush
A Little Gem!
I hadn't played Tansi in several years and was surprised at how good the course was. Fairways were perfect and greens were smooth. A little slower than i remembered them but not bad. We played a twosome and finished in just over 3 hours. We had a mid afternoon time and I think most people play here early.
I look forward to my next round here!
This course is in excellent condition.
This course is in excellent shape. The front nine is fairly open. The back nine is a bit more challenging, some local knowledge is helpful on a couple holes. The carts had hole layouts and yardages which were very helpful. An enjoyable experience all around. I definitely recommend playing this course.
lake tansi review
the course is in terrific condition in every respect.
course could use many more traps close to the green structures.
driving range is way too limited but understandable given space constraints.
great course
The conditions at this course are superb!! Greens are fabulous, and everyone is so friendly. Nice electric carts, and good yardage info in the booklet provided in the cart. The conditions of the course was great. If you love golf on perfect manicured courses, this is the place!!
Great Fun Round of Golf
Very enjoyable round of golf. Course was in excellent condition. I would have preferred that the greenside bunkers have a little softer/deeper sand, but I got out both times that I got in the bunkers.
The layout of the course is very good, and the greens are somewhat tricky due to the slope of the greens.
Rather picturesque course with some hills and valleys. Course runs through a nice residential area. Nice homes along the course and fortunately I didn't hit any of them. ;) Fairly wide fairways on most holes.
A very playable course for the intermediate golfer.
Great Condition
Lake Tansi was a great course for the money. It wasn't that challenging for a longer hitter, but made me focus on my short game. I can't stress enough that the course was a great value.
Great golf outing
This. Course is in great condition considering its mid summer. The bent fairways takes a bit of getting use to if you never played on it from Tee to green. The staff very friendly and pace of play less than 4 hours.
Best Course for the Money
This is the 2nd or 3rd time I have played this course. It is in excellent shape with fantastic greens and beautiful fairways. We played in the afternoon and got the "twilight special" for $30. It is by far the best value in Crossville golf. It is fair but challenging on some holes. Plus, it is just beautiful scenery. I highly recommend playing this course while you are in Crossville. Very satisfied golfer!
Course was in good condition.
Great place to play. Pace was not good, had a foursome in front of us that would not let us play thru and ranger did not push them.
They really mis-treat Golf Now customers
Arrived early, had nice lunch for 2, good value, very friendly people. Golf was the opposite experience. We sat and talked to starter for an hour, nobody was playing, but they still held us up an hour for our tee time insisting golf now wouldn't let us go early. Bull s#%t - others courses do when they are slow. SO they actually sent us off "late" because they wanted to wait for a 3rd to play in. All they do is complain about not getting paid by Golf Now, but they do get free advertising, scheduling and software from GN. If you done like Golf Now, break your arrangement. Stop complaining and treating non-club golfers like second class citizens. Your course wasn't that good. How's that Chuck, and the Tuesday starter?
Lots of challenging holes
Great course to play. Good layout for all levels of golfers.
Beautiful!!
The conditions at this course are superb!! Greens are fabulous, and everyone is so friendly. Nice electric carts, and good yardage info in the booklet provided in the cart. No spectacular views like Faifield Glade, but the conditions well make up for it. If you love golf on perfect manicured courses, this is the place!! Go to R Place restaurant afterwards, delicious!!
Don't Bring Your Wife
The course was absolutely empty. Only got to play the Back 9 twice due to storm damage which was totally understandable. What really upset me was the fact that I was one of the only people out there and my wife came to ride along with me as I played. The guy in the pro shop charged me another 12 dollars for her to ride with me. I can understand if the course was crowded and busy, but lets be real to charge me for my wife to ride along was ridiculous.
Greens and fairways were plush and in above average condition for a public course.
Would highly recommend for value and overall course condition. Must play.
