Lake Tansi Village Resort

The course is a great layout with challenging terrain and greens. Good for most all skill levels. I was pleasantly surprised by the layout.

Staff was friendly and the starter was very polite and professional. This course is the most consistent course in the area day after day. Always in good condition. Perfect day of golf with friends.

It was the first pretty day of the season so the course was slammed, but still managed to play 18 holes in a little over 4 hours. Staff was friendly. Starter was helpful and right on top of it. Challenging layout requiring several different clubs off the tees, greens were challenging but fair, course was in great condition (for March). Only “complaint” is that there was nowhere to buy a drink at the turn… no big deal. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely play it again.

Has a great time as always! Golf course is probably the most consistent of any course in the area. Always in good shape and even though it was cart path only because of all the rain it was still in good condition.

Clubhouse staff was exceptionally friendly and cordial. Very helpful in ensuring we knew our way around and great to chat with. The starter as well was great, moved us up when there was a cancellation. A beautiful day, course was in great shape for FEBRUARY - kudo's to the maintainers!!!

Unless it's airification time, you can pretty well get in Tansi being consistently predictable. Always I. Good shape, whether middle of summer or middle of winter.

Being winter golf, you have to curb your expectations a tad bit. However, Tansi never lets you down. The pace of play is always a tad slow due to the demographic of the golfers who go here, but the course is in FANTASTIC shape. I was very impressed at how well maintained the tee boxes and greens were for mid November in Tennessee. Even the fairways were still a bit firm and receptive. I have played this course numerous times and I can say if this course is in this condition right now, I CANNOT wait to come back and play in the spring. Staff is always a bit hasty at Tansi so i've come to expect that, but the starter was friendly and made sure to pair me and my partner up with people he felt would be similar in skill level and keep pace of play in check. Clubhouse is always clean and the carts are up to par. Hopefully they will invest in some GPS carts at some point because if you haven't ever played there before course management can become an issue, especially on some of the shorter par 4's like number 4 and number 7 and even some par 5's with water in landing zones. Overall, a great experience that i have actually come to expect when playing Tansi.

Lake Tansi was in great shape..The fairways were well maintained, the greens were smooth and fairly quick. Overall I was very impressed with the overall condition of this course, I honestly did not expect it to be this nice. I highly recommend anyone desiring to play golf in this area to consider Lake Tansi.

Tansi is always in excellent shape. The course is challenging but fair. Greens were perfect and fast.

We both really enjoyed this course. It was fast & easy to check in and get your cart. Signs were everywhere so you knew exactly where to go. There was a practice area at the start and we started on time. It wasn't overly crowded at all. Their friendly staff were available to answer questions. A staffer on the course even directed us to exactly where a ball landed so we didn't have to spend time searching for it. Being a female, I was especially happy that there were bathrooms available every 4-5 holes. Unfortunately, that is not the case for many golf courses.

I have played this course many times and it is always in great shape. They take much pride in maintaining the course. If you have time the 19th hole has excellent food.

Course is okay letting the fairways grow probably before winter

Pro shop attendant was fine and happy starter got us off early good thing because it took over 4.5 hours on a short course you could play in 3 hours

Greens was great but small

Been taking a group of 12-16 to tansi twice a year for over 25 yrs. I am a property owner. Have never had a problem with getting tee times until this year. Now you can’t get tee time until 30 days before your trip. So I called sept 6 to make tee times for Oct 6 which was 30 days before. I called 30 mins after they open and was told that the earlies time I could get for that Friday was 2:54 and they had no tee times for sat. Morning. I just need to know is if you can’t make tee times before 30 days how can they all be gone 30 mins after you open. This is the only time I’ve ever had this problem in 25 years. But that’s ok we will be back in the spring again.
