This course is in great shape.
It was a pleasure playing a Dallas area course at this time of year that has excellent fairways and beautiful greens. Nice pro shop. The fish and chips in the grill was excellent as well.
One of Dallas' Finest Courses.
One of the nicest and most challenging courses I have played. The fairway moguls and undulated greens make it a thinking mans course. Shot selection is critical to low scoring. The all-inclusive setup makes the cost comparable to much lesser courses. A definite bucket-list, must play!
The total experience!
I snagged a hot deal on Golfnow for about $110 for a Saturday tee time at 12:54, and all I can say is "WOW"!!! The tee time reservation said that all food & non-alcoholic beverages were included, and to my surprise, there was no catch...EVERYTHING was included. We showed up an hour early, had lunch in the restaurant, hit some range balls, and then hit the course. From the moment we stepped into the clubhouse, everyone we came across was as friendly as could be, and made the entire experience that much better. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the course was in AMAZING shape!! Soft greens that rolled fast & true, lush fairways, and an overall beautiful golf course. To top it all off, we came back into the clubhouse after our round, and they served us dinner as well!!! Lunch, golf, and dinner...all for $110??? I will be taking advantage of this deal again in the future!!!!

I played this Cource before the service this time seemed down.
Hade no assistance out front .
Lacks promptness
We had the very first time and they weren't ready for us. Had to wait till they setup the driving range before we could hit a few balls prior to our tee time. Also the dining area wasn't setup and ready when we arrived. The staff was very friendly but the maintenance personnel not so much. The concession stand on the course wasn't open the first time by but was by the second time we came to it. The course was in great shape and I did enjoy my round. Overall we had a good time but they could pay more attention to detail on their setup.
HAD A GREAT TIME....
LOVED EVERY BIT OF THE COURSE....THE SUN CAME OUT AND THE WIND DIED DOWN, SO GOLFING WAS ON!!!!!
Best public corse around
I do not get to play the Cowboy course as often as I would like because of the cost. This offer from GolfNow was beyond belief. Can't wait til this Golf Channel Package is back!! This course is phenomenal!
Great course, great greens, great amenities-great experience.
Always a good experience here. Usually a little slow, a bit pricey, but worth it overall.
Great scenery, undulating greens and challenging holes
I have played this golf course 3 times so far in the last 3 yrs and every time I play it I find it very challenging. The daily rate is little high however you get food and beverage with that so that makes up for some of it.
Not a $180 course for sure
We had a great expectation on this course. However, the green condition was so wet and slow and I had to "HIT" my putting instead of rolling. I have not seen anyone picking up the bag, no one controlling for a cart, no marshal , what so ever, only centrally controlled cart that slows down when entering to fairway while others are driving their carts into fairway without any problem. When I played at Tribute, the crew were constantly maintaining the green. I kinda expected the same but were very disappointed.
Maybe this is not a great time to play at that course but it would be my last visit anyway.
Green was terrible
Not worth $180 for a round at all. Green was very soft and super slow. Course had youth tournament and we had to wait 10 minutes between each shot. No bag service and no marshal whatsoever. I won't go play there again.
#1 for a reason
Not much to not like about this course. Pampered throughout the whole time we were there. If you get a chance to play this cousre, do it.
The discounted price was perfect
The price I paid was perfect for what the course offers. Went out early and the course was wide open and the in good conditions. The greens could use a little more attention around where the old cups were, other then that the greens rolled good. If you are in the area during the week go play the course you will enjoy it.
Best in the Metroplex
Once again I am amazed at Cowboys Golf Club, this was my 4th time playing this spectacular course and I must say that every time I play it I walk away with a new experience. The new white sand bunkers have not only added a great challenge to your round but the scenic views of them from the elevated tee boxes on some holes are nothing less than stunning. This course is a must play for any golfer in the DFW area. Cowboys greatly deserves there #1 ranking as the best public course in DFW.
Great course and perfect condition.
Cowboys Country Club has done a great job with this course. Condition on Nov 5 was perfect. Fairways and Greens are well maintained and food and beverage service was excellent. I'll be back next time I'm in Dallas
Country Club service and atmosphere
Consistant quality as always, and staff is equal to the finest Clubs in Dallas or any major market. The course was in good shape except for a couple a traps that were under reconstructon. Greens were slow compared to past rounds, as I play Cowboys approx 10-12 times a year, when discounts are a vailable. 189.00 list price is too steep for most. But I love it for visitors to our area, as I live in Grapevine.
Well maintained course near airport but too much $$
If you are in need of golf while traveling in Dallas, this works great.
Course is well maintained, and the Cowboys theme is kind of interesting. Course is expensive.....
