Moody Gardens

What a wonderful golf course. This course will challenge all phases of your golf game. My group will play here at least once a month because of the eminitys at Moody. The travel from the Sugarland area is worth the drive. We really enjoy playing here an will return soon.

I have played this course 3-4 times this year, each time the staff and course were VERY good. Mosquitos can be deadly occasionally, but the layout will keep me returning.

The course was in great condition. Mosquitos were an issue for a bit.

Excellent course and great for price! Great weather, hardly anyone there. We also bought a special thru Golf Now for $18 + Tax and etc. So great weather, great prices, and great course......can't beat it!

This is a very nice course. It is a must play if you are ever in the area.

A fantastic day to be outside playing on a very nice golf course. Course was in great shape and was not crowded. It seemed most people where watching the Texans get spanked by the Falcons. Greens where in excellent shape. The course is set up for a southerly breeze but it was coming out of the north which made the course a little more challenging. This is a must play course. Staff is extremely friendly.

Have been here several times and it's always in very good shape! Not too forgiving if you are wild, but interesting layout and good greens. Bunkers not raked yesterday.........

This course was in great shape and except for 30-minute rain delay it was a great day.

This is a nice course to play on most days. We played in the afternoon after a morning rain and were the first ones on the course, cart path only. Don't know how much rain they had, but there was standing water in a lot of places, backed up drains on the course and some deep water on the cart path in spots. The asst. pro caught us avoiding the cart path lake by going ten feet onto course, not the fairway, and berated my partner and I as if we had done something life threatening. He screeched his tires, yelled and carried on about our brief foray onto the grass, then proceeded to turn around on the grass to go back to the clubhouse. We did report this to the golf course management who apologized for his actions.
The only other downer to the day was that there was no one in the grill. We had to go twice to the clubhouse for them to roust the grill personnel so we could get a burger and a coke. It was a good burger though.:)

Course in excellent condition. Greens were recently sanded. Still rolled very well and had above average speed.

I drive from the Katy side of Houston to play here. The ball sits up on the fairways making iron shots a joy. The wind can be challenging but never overwhelming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The facilities are always clean. And afterward I treat myself to any one of the great restaurants on the island.

Played last year this time and it was the same this year as last year. The course was in awesome shape. The fairways were nice and the putting greens were nice and smooth. Played in the afternoon and the greens were still smooth.

The pace of play is unrealistic. The marshals constantly harass your to speed up to the point that it's not even fun to play anymore.

Course was in great shape especially considering no rain for 6 weeks.

Reasonable rate for nice course at island setting. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Good pace of play for resort setting. Staff were friendly.

This course was in excellent greens condition. Very tropical scene with palm trees and water all around. We golfed 18 Long holes so a cart was needed. Windy and warm temps of 87 degrees made it a perfect golf day. Traveled 80 miles to get here but worth it if you turn it into a mini vacation.

Other than the 85% humidity everything was great. Interesting variety of holes. Good greens

Excellent golf course! We tried to beat the heat with an early tee time, but the humidity (and little to no wind) still got to us. Other than that the greens were plush and the fairways were pristine. The cart girl was very freindly and courteous. Gig 'em!

Course in great condition..definitely a perfect golf course.pace if play under 4 hrs perfect pace.food is a little to expensive but it is what it is..ii would play again for sure
