The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe

About The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe
The 154-room, LEED-certified Lodge at Edgewood debuted in June 2017, completing a long-term vision to have a lakeside lodge to accompany the famed Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, a George Fazio design that hugs the lake and serves as the home of the American Century Championship, a made-for-TV celebrity golf tournament every July. Families can bounce between the hot tubs and heated pool to the small beach on the lake. The wall of windows in the three-story great room overlooks an events lawn of outdoor fire pits and ample spaces for children to run free. Although the hotel's restaurants are great, Brooks' Bar & Deck at the golf clubhouse overlooks the lake and the 18th green, a setting that can't be beat.Facts

Always spectacular
If you get a chance?
Play it! Beautiful scenery and always in perfect shape
I’ve been fortunate enough to play it several times
Always a great day. Pricey but you can get a deal occasionally on GN
Beautiful Course
One of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. Not too difficult with exception of the fast greens. All the holes are either framed with tall trees or have breath taking views of Lake Tahoe. Green fee was a bit steep, but well worth it. Tee times fill up far in advance.
First pga course I have ever played
Extremely gorgeous land scapes. Immaculate tee boxes. Im a 7 handicap and I shot a 90. The greens were absolutely insane to control. I had 44 putts for context. A few trees in the middle so it's quite a shooter course. If you're not used to playing at high elevation play cheaper courses first to figure out your distance with each club
Never Disappoints
The green fees may seem high, but after you’ve played your round you will have no complaints. The pace of play is great. The layout and views are spectacular. Can’t wait to play another round.
First time at Edgewood
Course is in a stunning setting with plenty of variety of hole design throughout the round. Pace of play was 5 hours. Delay in starting due to carts being unavailable! Greens were quick, especially above the hole. Saw a 10% increase in distance due to the altitude. Staff in golf shop are friendly
Bucket list course
Did not disappoint. From the staff to the course condition, and pace of play. As advertised
Course Was Fantastic - Pace of Play Was Brutal
The good - the course is amazing... conditions are fantastic. Greens were incredibly pure. Views on #9, 16, 17, 18 are unbeatable. It's a fun course without being overly difficult. One I would love to play time and again.
The bad- the most brutal pace of play in my entire golf career. A fivesome was ahead of us. 4 of the 5 had never golfed before. 3 of the 5 were women. The women were playing from the silver men's tees the first half of the round. We waited 5-15 minutes on every single shot all day long. Unfortunately it ruined what should've been one of my favorite rounds of golf in a long time. It is also about at the tipping point for price at $350.
They need to stagger tee times a touch more and worry less about the # of tee times they can get in every day to maximize profits. Also should never allow fivesomes on a course like this... take a page out of the new black deserts playbook in st George Utah and do 15 minute tee times. See pic for the clubs lined up waiting to get off the first tee. Yikes.
Wonderful condition
This is a pricey course but is so incredibly beautiful the price is justified. I played twice in the same week because I just had to go back. The course is in pristine condition!
Beautiful Track
Well maintained course and friendly staff. Great views of the lake and mountains.
