Aereation time has come

News flash: As of 5/25/15 the front nine just got the greens punched. I don't know their schedule, but I'd expect them to start on the back nine shortly. I'm going to wait until the 11th of June or later to play this course again. Otherwise, this is one of my favorite courses.

Excellent Course

This course is tough and challenging. Greens were fast. If you landed on the green, you are sure to go over. Overall condition was superb. Some of the holes on the back 9 are spectacular. Bunkers were in good shape too. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Don't miss this one

Second time I played this course. Would not miss the chance to play it when I am near St. George, UT. Great facilities excellent course. The beauty of the coral rocks off set by the red sand bunkers are a visual treat. It's worth a two hour trip from Vegas.

Back 9 is a gem!

Played here 3 years ago, course still great and they added a world class clubhouse. Overall conditions a bit dry but I`ll take the roll out on the tee ball. Ya gotta think on your approach shot, be a hero and go for the well tucked pins or back off and play for 1 putt par or easy bogey. You can get out here in the afternoon and scoot around pretty quick. Only drawback are the clay-sand traps, takes a big thump to extricate!

terrible course conditions

interesting layout on back nine, but conditions were horrible. rock hard fairways, slow greens and poorly maintained bunkers. this was the most disappointing course on our week long golf trip. they need to get this course in better shape if they want return customers. only redeeming value was the nice clubhouse.

Just okay

Wind was sustained at 20mph plus when we arrived which made for a tough front nine. Thankfully the wind calmed down later in the day which made the round more enjoyable but the pace of play was a turtle crawl. Didn't care for the condition of the greens....somewhat bumpy - and extremely fast and difficult to read. The wind blows so much at this course that there's basically just red dirt in the traps...maintained but several are impossible to get out of. The course is very scenic - back nine especially. Overall decent maintainance - the grass on the range is sparse at best but overall I rate as average compared to Coral Canyon or even the The Palms course which we have played already on this golf trip and I'll be reviewing those two courses along with the Palmer and Wolf Creek shortly. Folks are friendly and decent beverage/food prices in the clubhouse. I'll recommend the course due to scenery but the over $100 green fee is pretty steep.

Most beautiful course (ever?). Very playable.

Might just be. My first foray into mountain desert golf. Awesome place to play golf. Staff is unbelievably friendly. Everyone! Views are unparalleled! Course is very playable from the proper tees. Excellent conditions tee to green. Even got to play the 9 hole links course and found that very enjoyable. Just a complete unique experience and can't wait to go back. Highly recommended!!!

Beat down, but fun.

This is not a ver forgiving course. I am not a great golfer and this course chewed me up and spit me out! The facilities are A+ carts were awesome, but the grounds were in bad shape. We were told a water main broke and the fairways were really dry.
