playing good for begining of season!!

played the course with two buddies, second time playing the course, course was in good shape for the time of year 4/23/13...greens were excellent, putts rolled true, irons and chips checked up great, a few of the greens had bad fringes, but didn't effect putting from off the green thru them, not a bunch of room to miss left or right due to it being very hilly and leaving you blind shots to the pin, just had to take my medicine and scramble...overall had a good round and was pleased with the golf now price and the conditions.

Great layout, much work needed.

The course has a great layout, but unfortunately, the course was not well maintained. The fairways were not grown in, the greens had been aerated sometime before we played and rolled ok. The course has many well-placed sand traps, but they had not been worked and many were basically just dirt. I recommend the course only if you get a great deal. I am not from this area, but in my area in northern Indiana, we can play many fine courses for 20-30 dollars including cart if you are a senior. We paid 25 on golfnow and felt it was overpriced.

Wonderful Greens

Kiln Creek has some of the best greens around. They are always in perfect shape. The bunkers have been a problem at this course for sometime now but with a new staff they are working hard to fix it. The fairways are just okay but should be much better during the hotter months. This is a challenging course no matter what tees you play from. There is a lot of non flat lies on the course and it adds to the difficulty. Once they get the bunkers fixed and the fairways fully back this place will be great again. The new staff is really putting some time and effort into making this course one of the best on the peninsula.
