Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
About Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
Located a short ferry ride from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Clearwater Casino Resort, owned by the Suquamish Tribe, is more than just a waterfront casino. It has the amenities for a wedding, work conference, golf getaway or a relaxing vacation. The 183-room resort features a spa, six restaurants, four bars, an event lawn, indoor zero-entry pool, beach access and the excitement of casino nightlife that offers table games, slots, keno and much more. The tribe purchased the White Horse Golf Course, located 11 miles away in Kingston, in 2010 and made immediate improvements. A new clubhouse was added and local architect John Harbottle brought in to make the course more playable.Facts

White Horse
Played on a Friday, really good weather and was surprised how open the course was as far as players go. Played as a twosome, front nine went without waiting, back nine had to wait on foursome in front of us which is to be expected. 4:15 total time so can't complain. Nice course
Great course, but need a marshal
Challenging course with lots of elevation changes. Extremely slow play. Had to wait on every shot. The round took over 5 hours and the course was not that crowded. A group 2 ahead of us were way over there head and holding everyone up. The greens were fast but true. Need to stay in the fairway.
Playsafe
Very tight fairways and tough approach’s. Greens very undulated. Not for beginners for sure. Fun but very challenging. Needs some steps cut to the tee boxes for older folks to navigate.
Usually must better
Very chilly day
Greens just punched and impossible to make a putt, ball collected sand and a lot!of fertilizer, our eyes were burning by end of round
A course all golfers should play
We had a Golf Now discount but the course was almost empty so we played as a twosome. Course was in great shape. There was a little wind and started off a little chilly but with this course layout how can you complain. Had a great time didn't shoot that well but it was both of our first time out this year. Everyone should play this course at least once.
Tought but fun
Beautiful layout. Lots of challenge. Sand was reasonable, actually kinda fun...Not much water comes into play but lots of scrub to hit over. Pace of play important and be ready to pick up if you are found holding up the game. It took me a ferry ride and decided to stay overnight at The Point Hotel and Casino, making it a wonderful weekend and so worth the extra travel time.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course condition was dry and not muddy at all, making an early spring round very enjoyable.
I'll be back!
January Sunday round
Staff was good to work with. The ferry from Edmonds to Kingston was cancelled without notice, so the assistant pro worked us in after the next boat arrived.
Course is in good shape for January. Front nine was open, backed up a bit on 10th tee but then the group in front pulled ahead after 11.
There isn't a lot of supervision (starter or marshal or bev cart) in the winter months but the fellow golfers tend to self-police and keep things moving.
Greens were in good shape.
Never Fails
We love Whitehorse! The staff, the Pro, the course, the hamburgers, etc. The carts allow you to use your iPhone (NO LOUD MUSIC PLEASE) but the app is great!
Awesomeness
This course was tough but playable for ahh range of golfers. The best condition I've seen all winter of any course I've played. Even with some temp greens you get the full affect of the terrain. I'll definitely play again and recommend this place to others.
3 times this week !
I had a week off of work, great value! 3x this week !
A great front 9 !
Great shape for the month of December! 39 front, 45 back, great fun , great course!
A walk in kingston
Great shape! Bunkers were impeccable! Course for December was a A+!
Beat the weather!
Beautiful course, beautiful people! ....Not bad play! 41-44
Exceptional Golf Course
The course was in excellent shape. Best greens I've played all year. I'm not sure what they are doing, but this the course conditions were amazing. I'm looking forward to coming back. They had shotgun (Turkey Shoot) tournament, but you have no idea that it was going on. I suspect that they started the tournament in groups of 2 - 4 foursome on the back nine, which had exceptional play for those with regular tee times.
Great course management.
a good friday"
Beautiful course conditions, great course! Good fun & made some $$
great day of golf! Course was in very good condition.
The perfect day.
Playing golf in the Pacific Northwest at the end of October can be dicey but we had the perfect day at White Horse Golf Club. The course was in incredible condition. Fairways were lush and every ball in the fairway sat up perfectly. They were 10's. The weather was sunny and equally as incredible. The White Horse course is a challenge that can be conquered with accurate shots and good putting. The layout is great with many different styles of holes that makes the course interesting and fun to play. Pick the right tees and play well to score well. But most of all enjoy the beauty, serenity, and nature of a great course.
Beautiful Course / Slow Play
White Horse is a beautiful course and was in great condition, but very slow play has become the norm there.
