Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
About Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
Located a short ferry ride from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Clearwater Casino Resort, owned by the Suquamish Tribe, is more than just a waterfront casino. It has the amenities for a wedding, work conference, golf getaway or a relaxing vacation. The 183-room resort features a spa, six restaurants, four bars, an event lawn, indoor zero-entry pool, beach access and the excitement of casino nightlife that offers table games, slots, keno and much more. The tribe purchased the White Horse Golf Course, located 11 miles away in Kingston, in 2010 and made immediate improvements. A new clubhouse was added and local architect John Harbottle brought in to make the course more playable.Facts

Manicured fairways Photo submitted by Spencer3502694 on 06/17/2013
Fairways are great and the greens difficult to putt.
The event was better than I had imagined. Everything was as described in GOLF NOW website. My twosome was paired up with another twosome from Seattle and we compared the benefits of using GOLF NOW.
good overall
Course was in a very good condition. Pace was good. Most of the greens were still in good shape beside quite bit rain two days ago.
Great Labor Day at White Horse!
Enjoyed the challenge of White Horse and the course didn't disappoint.
Staff was on the players to keep pace and encouraged consolidation of twosomes at the turn. It kept everyone moving and kept the play to a reasonable 4.25 hrs.
Awesome clubhouse with great food and cold beer! Staff was friendly and helpful.
I'm returning to WH in October.
mosquito haven
The golf course was fairly soggy for the small amount of rain we have had in the area. The mosquitos were out in force, but the pro shop and the marshall both provided repellent, which saved the day. There is no roll and all approaches must carry to the green, so hackers like me must play the blue/white tees in order to be somewhat competitive. Beautiful course but very difficult for the average hacker.
good shape except for greens
fairways and tees in great shape. Greens ok, putt true, but there are differences on speed from green to green
Great course to play
I play here at least eight times a year and I'm never disappointed . The course is in great shape , greens are running true and fast.
Great environment to have a great day on the links.
Varity of holes
A great mix of holes, long and short par 4 & 3s with dog legs on a # of par 4s. Requires shot making not a bangers course.
Bring a lot of balls.
Facility is great!
I love the restaurant . It is open cage type and I feels like in tropical place.
Off course weather was helped.
Pro shop people are very friendly.
I recommend use the power cart.
And keep fareways other wise you will list balls easy!
Excellent Course
Everything was first class from the time I entered the parking lot until I left. White Horse was challenging, but excellent in every way. My only complaint is that it is not easy to find.
Challenging greens
Difficult to read greens and balls roll off easily.

White Horse getting better
Overall Course getting better. The most disappointing thing is the pace of play. Horrendous! On weekends. Good golf day ruined by pace of play. Too many playing wrong tees. Looking for their golf balls in junk. Tough course that should not be played by those who cannot keep it play. Otherwise...I 'd play more if course asst keep the pace of play to 4-4.5 hrs.
Great, challenging course, enjoy playing this course.
Have not tried the food here yet, but I will! Even a bad day of golf here is made better by the scenery.
A must play -
This is a fantstic course - a must play when you are up on the peninsula.
NICE COURSE!
Immaculate greens, friendly staff, driving range off of grass, not mats. Challenging course, fast greens. Loved it. One of my favorite courses in the Seattle area.
Absolutely fabulous
First rate all the way. You're going to need your A game. Beautiful scenery, nice facilities.
Perfect day, great experience
Like wine, White Horse has improved with age. I golfed on White Horse the first year and the course was extremely challenging and in terrible condition: brick hard greens and fairways, punitive layout. Now, though, the course is in excellent condition! Landing your drive on the fairway means you're in great position for par or birdie. Greens are great. The course is challenging and playable. I'll be back.
I prefer to ride on this course. There are some transitions from one hole to the next on the front 9 that are LONG - a quarter of a mile or more it seems.
Prepare to lose some golf balls...
Overall, the course was in really good shape. Well taken care of greens and fairways. Have several tee boxes to choose and play from. Pretty long course. Most of the fairways are surrounded by forest, so if you hit a ball in the trees, just forget about finding it. Couple narrow fairways as well. If walking, you're easily playing 5-6 hour round if course is busy.
One of the best courses in the state.
Whitehorse is one of my favorite courses, it's definitely worth the special trip. The new clubhouse is very nice and makes for a nice picture on the tee box at 18.
