Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort

About Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort
Located a short ferry ride from Seattle on the Kitsap Peninsula, the Clearwater Casino Resort, owned by the Suquamish Tribe, is more than just a waterfront casino. It has the amenities for a wedding, work conference, golf getaway or a relaxing vacation. The 183-room resort features a spa, six restaurants, four bars, an event lawn, indoor zero-entry pool, beach access and the excitement of casino nightlife that offers table games, slots, keno and much more. The tribe purchased the White Horse Golf Course, located 11 miles away in Kingston, in 2010 and made immediate improvements. A new clubhouse was added and local architect John Harbottle brought in to make the course more playable.Facts

The White Horse
Loved to play at the White Horse GC despite 2 hours away from home. But this time somehow the putting green was very slow, long, bumpy and uneven. We were all very disappointed. Previous day we played at the Classic GC at Spanaway, it had much better conditions than White Horse, and cheaper!
Nice layout
Layout is great but the greens were very slow. I hope the greens are better next time.
Gem on the peninsula.
Whitehorse is always a demanding lay out with small raised greens. It beats me up but I love it.
Good Course But Punched Greens
The Course conditions were good. We were told that only 5 greens were punched but I would say all of the greens but five were punched. They did discount the green fees. The rest of the course was in good shape. I enjoyed the layout as fair and challenging for a intermediate golfer. I would recommend and hopefully the greens have recovered.
Long and tough
The scenery was wooded and rolling hills
..we were always hitting over a hill and never sure which way the ball would roll...the gr3ndbhas recently sanded and they did give us a discount...it was the first five hour round I have played in about ten years the two guys we were paired with left us and tried to play through the groups in front of us...never saw them again...pro shop staff were friendly
Challenging but fun
Be prepared to be challenged. We played the front nine. If you're a decent golfer you'll be fine. We are not decent golfers so we had our work cut out for us. 10/10 will play here again.
Best in Kitsap
I have played this golf course many times and it never gets old with how good of conditions it is and how challenging it is. The conditions were absolutely immaculate and the greens were rolling so good.
No Refund or Exchange!
I did not play. I accidentally hit the purchase button the night before when I was looking at it. Golfnow would not refund me the $144 I was charged. So I had to eat it.. I was on the wrong day. Golfnow would not even allow me to change the date to a day I could actually golf.
Frustrated & Broke!
Great course
Really great course. It was in great shape (from tee to green). Definitely worth the ferry ride to get there.
Perfect day of golf
The course was in great condition greens some of the best around. Staff is great Cart service is the way it is supposed to be done. Food at the restaurant was great
Might be my favorite place to play in Kitsap. Great to meet friends walking off ferry to join for the day
Great value
I play this course a couple times each summer. Always in great shape, interesting layout and very challenging greens! Staff were great!
Enjoyed my round today. Always heard course was very challenging and everyone talked about how many bunkers there was. Obviously many bunkers have been removed since course opened. What I never heard was how difficult it was to find level lies on the course, or how difficult and how much slope the greens have and how small they were. After and while playing I found myself wondering how I never heard anything about how difficult the greens are. Greens were in great shape and rolled very nicely. I have no complaints enjoyed the challenge and would play again for sure
