The course is in as Good as shape as I've seen since it opened

let a nice course layout deteriorate in to bad conditions and poor maintenance.

Are used to play this course all the time, but they have changed for the worst. In my opinion I used to be in mint condition, and I would honestly say it has a by far lay out better than any course in Morgantown, but when it comes to the groundskeeping of the course it has slipped away without a doubt, I only play this course now and then just because of the challenge but they still need massive updates on bunkers fairways and a lot of the greens

Playing this course for the 11th time since april. And WOW WOW WOW. COMPARED TO LAKEVIEW. Which use to be the best course. No. They have the staff,the greens,the food,and the upgrade of the golf carts. And the fairways look amazing. U have some rough spots but where doesnt. Im glad the new management have changed this course. Would want a better food choice in the clubhouse and more options of items to purchase such as shirts,shoes,etc. BUT WOW this course is the NEW

I played here in the early 2000’s it was a beautiful course. That is No longer the case. Dead spots everywhere. Complete lack of course maintenance. Sand traps are a disgrace. They even were closing the snack shop at the turn at 1 pm on a Saturday because they ran out of food. When we checked in I used the restroom the garbage was overflowing and the same empty water bottle was visible in the van 4 hrs later. They have ruined a once beautiful facility by just refusing to care. I read reviews I didn’t want to believe. And they always ask what they can do to improve. Well water the course. Remove some dead or misplaced trees. Seed the tee boxes take the sand and start caring about the facility and customers.

Why in the world would management resort ito booking twosomes and foursomes and exclude us single golfers? Seems like a step back when they are trying to improve and establish this once-nice Course! C’mon man!!!

Management has turned this place completely around. As someone who swore this track off, the greens are in tip top shape, the fairways mown and widened, and overall the entire course has improved.

Good value. The rough and greens are in bad shape. Probably tough to maintain with so many trees.

Overall, I was impressed with this course. I don't have any significant complaints and I walked away having had a lot of fun. I like to read reviews -especially when it is not a nearby course (this wasn't near to me -I was travelling). Some reviews were of people complaining about some brown spots/dead grass areas on the green. I did notice that on some of the greens. However, that didn't bother me at all. The brown spots were typically far from the hole and didn't matter so much. To me it was like part of the challenge (like having to putt/chip over a little bit of rough). So I didn't see that as a big deal. It looked as if they were working to fix those spots. I didn't think the spots took much away from the nice look of the course. Perhaps a bit more water hazards (I know I should be careful what I wish for) would be nice. There were lots of sand traps, which I liked. But not too many to make it too difficult or too annoying. The layout was great. Nice variety and well designed. Great scenery. The golf carts had touch screens and a GPS to give distance to the green. The carts also had small coolers attached. The people that worked there all seemed nice. I would like to play here again and would certainly recommend it.

Fun course, but the cart paths are in horrible shape. They make you want to ride along in the grass the whole time.

The greens are in poor condition and players don’t fix ball marks.

Divots is fairway’s are not fixed or replaced.

Little or no sand in traps.

View of the lake on 4 holes at the most.

Restrooms at main building are in shambles. No soap to wash hands and no paper towels.

No practice range, only putting green.

Even with GolfNow discount it’s not worth the money.

Heard from a friend that the course was in better shape. Decided to give it another try and it’s still in poor condition. Tee boxes need redone badly, bunkers were in poor condition, but greens were in great shape. However, several of them have digger bee nest in the cup and digging holes on the green. Mike was super nice and we got a great deal on GolfNow! However, I won’t be returning. All Lakeview properties are in terrible shape. Very sad for locals because we don’t have many options in town.
