Mountain magic
Beautiful course that we found by accident last year. Had to stop and play again this year because of its beauty. They have to other course there that we plan to try on our next trip. A must play if your in that area

What a fantastic course. Great layout and condition. There are two other courses in this resort. I’m looking forward to playing all of them next year.

Awesome scenic track. Challenging but not terribly difficult. Greens weren’t as fast as expected but still good.
Stopped into play on way to Myrtle beach
We are on our way to Myrtle Beach and we stayed in Beckley, West Virginia, so I booked on GolfNow and found this gem of a golf course. Stonehaven was an absolute pleasure to play awesome elevations top-notch golf course in West Virginia.

Unique and unforgettable Must experience
I love this course. The scenery is beautiful,the fairways are very well maintained and clean. the greens are fantastic,rolling fast and true. This course is the perfect example of what a golf course in West Virginia should be. It always feels like you’re on an expedition,navigating the topography and the hollows. The staff is beyond accommodating,very friendly and helpful. Parking lot is a little hard to find,but the biggest downside. is NO concession stand or beverage cart service. I will still recommend this course because it is an unforgettable experience and memory of our mountain state
Picturesque, fun, challenging and fair
Great layout. Minimal water. Elevation changes throughout. Audience (deer) abounds. Risk rewards await you.
Straight or else
Lived up to reputation. If you want to challenge yourself, this is the course for you. Layout through the hills of WV. Ravines, heavy brush, fast sloping greens. Gotta hit mid fairway else risk watching your ball rest at bottom of hill.green approach best for high shots with backswing; strong forward rolls a penalize. Views are tremendous.
It’s dead
The greens have came back nicely all but two of them. They were well cared for.
The tee boxes are bald and almost impossible to keep balance. Almost like a fairway bunker.
Speaking of fairway. There is grass on a few holes. I feel I got robbed of my money and a 1.5 hour one way drive
