great value
Great value. Staff always very friendly. Challenging greens.
Absolute Perfect Day
Got out early to kick off the Labor Day weekend, wide open in front of me. Got to play solo which was a dream come true and the weather was phenom. Of course I played best I had all summer, with no one around to witness. Will be bringing friends back here soon!
Pretty good course!
I have played here twice now and have yet to be disappointed. The course is pretty good and in pretty good shape! The greens are awesome but scary fast. I usually dont play well here for some reason but always leave with a smile! Go ahead and give it a try! I dont think you will regret it
Door County Vacation
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Greens were in good shape. Fairways were a little dry. But overall a good value for the money.
Very good course
The course has a terrific layout and some beautiful views. It's not in perfect shape but solid. Great value. Hasn't been crowded.
Cherry Hill . . . . and Hills
I would not recommend walking this course, There are plenty of hills and a lot of real estate between holes.
Excellent customer service
The staff at Cherry Hills showed our group excellent customer service all afternoon long. We had a great time. Thank you!
Cherry Hills
I enjoyed my first 18 hole round at Cherry Hills. Staff had cart out and ready for me when I arrived. Had a friendly chat from the balcony. I played late morning and traffic was light on the course, allowing for a quick round. Fairways are fairly wide and forgiving for your tee shot. Some green and pin locations made for some challenging shots in. It was a little windy and cool. Course was in good shape for the early season. Good value for the money.
Greens hurt
Fastest greens on this side of the Mississippi. If you tap that ball it’ll roll right off the other side.
Was a golf course that wasn’t anything special carved out of a farmers field price was cheap so that’s why I tried course
Rolling Hills
As my playing partner called the course. This was the first time he had played it, but after he had tries 3 or 4 putts he called the greens . . . . Rolling Greens.
Even after a great deal of rain (2 to 3 inches) the majority of the course was still playable.
The course has large greens that are very challenging based on the pin placements.
Cherry Hills
They have used the terrain of the course to the best advantage. While you can walk the course I would not recommend this, it's VERY hilly and spread out (operating on both sides of the road).
The course is kept in good shape by the "grounds crew".
The greens can be difficult because of their crowns, and the flag placements.
(I'm currently visiting this location in Wisconsin).
Good course
My husband & I golf this course a lot, good price, course is challenging. Every year see more improvements to the course.
Fun track
I played Cherry Hills last year and enjoyed the layout, with several very interesting and fun holes, but the greens were badly damaged by winter kill. This year the greens are in great shape, with a few of them very challenging. The grass in the rough is a little thin. but the fairways are very good. I love how the character of the course changes several times through 18 holes, to keep things interesting and keep you on your toes. We will be back.
