Cherry Hills Lodge & Golf Course
Cherry Hills Golf Course sprawls across gently rolling countryside in Sturgeon Bay. The layout tumbles across a variety of elevation changes that make for some challenging, hard-to-read greens. Some have even compared them to Pinehurst's famous greens. Be prepared to have your short-game skills thoroughly tested. The front nine is slightly more forgiving than the back nine where the fairways are narrower and many are lined with out-of-bounds stakes. Water hazards come into play one four holes and there are a few strategically placed sand traps. The golf course is challenging but fair and not too intimidating for beginners, especially since at just over 6,200 yards, it is a manageable length. In addition to the course, there is also a lighted driving range at Cherry Hills G.C.

Every hole is different with hole 5 and 15 the most fun and memorable. Everyone is friendly. The colors in Autumn as the back nine is cut through the woods are worth the trip.
I really enjoyed the course
For my first time playing the course. I really enjoyed my round. If you choose to walk, you will definitely be getting a workout in, it is pretty hilly, which personally didn't bother me. The layout is very interesting, and the scenery is amazing. I will definitely be coming back again in the future!
Definitely a challenge if you never played there before.
Greens were fast and challenging.
Played early Sunday morning. Not very crowded at that time. Course in good condition, as challenging as we wanted. Will visit again next time in Door County.
Cherry Hills is a fine course. Great condition, nice layout, friendly people. Some interesting holes require good course management and well-placed shots. My only knock is that the bar/restaurant isn't open untill 4pm, so no lunch on-site after our round. Staffing levels are a problem as in many Door County businesses. We had a great day regardless, and we'll definately be back.
First time at Cherry Hills
Greens very challenging, read to break right, they break left, very few flat putts. Lots of elevated greens
Course very hilly and rolling, makes you think about ball placement off tees and on approaches. This is a hidden gem in Door County
