Ranger
My brother and I have played this course many times for over 15 years. Normally, staff is good and supportive and I recommend the course.
This time was different. We were never more than 3 minutes behind pace and yet the Ranger felt it necessary to go with us for 7 holes in a row. We were obviously very annoyed and it affected our enjoyment at Geneva National Trevino.
We will be evaluating our options in the future.
Not worth the money
Nice course and clubhouse. Pace of play was a joke and had to wait 10 minutes on every box from hole 3 to 18. Driving range was closed and was not told this ahead of time. Save your money and try aomelther courses in the areas.
ABJ
Good Time moved along fast and course was in great shape for early in the year.
This course is INCREDIBLE
First I want to acknowledge the staff. I'm a customer success manager for a software company, needless to say I evaluate service from a different perspective.
Staff was incredible, super kind and helpful start to finish.
The course itself was in incredible. Great condition. Course pace of play was strong! Just book it!
Always a fun course to play. Course is in decent shape, for just coming out of winter. Price was excellent at $65, considering is a course that’s over $100, during the regular season.
Solid Course - 4.5 Stars for Time of Year
Geneva National is my favorite destination for value golf in WI, and while I play the Player and Palmer course roughly 3-4 times each per year (would play them much more if not for the 50 minute commute), this was my first time playing the Trevino course. It is early season and they had just punched the greens but considering this, still a good round with a next to none twilight value. Courses are always in great shape come peak season. Of the 3 courses, Trevino ranks third on my list which says quite a bit about the Palmer and Player.
I have played all of the quality Lake Geneva area courses. In my opinion the rankings are as follows when it comes to overall Layout, Course Conditions and Value:
1) Player Course - Geneva National
2) Palmer Course - Geneva National
3) Hawks Landing
4) Trevino Course - Geneva National
5) The Brute - Grand Geneva
6) The Highlands - Grand Geneva
Best course
Really enjoyed this course, layout is perfect.
Staff is excellent!
Fall golf
I enjoy all three of Geneva National's courses. Leaves can be an issue but the Palmer course was excellent condition.
