About Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. The WELL Spa + Salon, located in a separate fitness building, offers more than 65 treatments and services.Facts

GolfNow Fake deal
I did not get the deal I signed up for, paid about $20 more.
Top 5
Elevated tees, awesome layout, incredible condition.
Sand traps
Sand traps are a challenge for recreational golfers. When sand traps are crusty and filled with stones it’s impossible. Traps are far below what you would expect from this quality of coarse. Very disappointing.

Course was fabulous. Conditions were fantastic. Greens are huge but always be under hole to score. The only problem was that is was Cary path only. There was no standing water anywhere on the course. Pace of play was brutally slow. Played only 12 holes in about 3.25 hours.
Great course
Wow. Great course. No carts in fairway made it difficult, but loved the course. Great staff. Highly recommend,
Nice course Especially for about $70
Course was fun... some shorter Par 4s but maybe 2 really long ones as well... 420 and 450 from the Gold tees. For me those were a bit long. Fairways fairly wide open for the drive at least mostly. Cool and plush electric carts.
Great course!
I was visiting from out of town and this course lived up to the hype. Greens were great and course was in overall excellent shape. Hope to play it again!
Great challenge with nice views!
The Brute at Grand Geneva is both challenging and scenic. The greens rolled very consistent and the fairways/tee-boxes were in great shape as well. I would highly recommend this course.
Beautiful course
Challenging layout but very fair. Course is in great condition. Staff was extremely friendly. Will definitely play again.
The Highlands, a nice place to golf!
This is a great place, very picturesque, challenging but not killer challenging. Favorite hole was a 200 yard par 3, which was uphill and into the wind. Bring your driver because that’s what it took to get there. The overall course is very fair, and we would definitely play here again.
