About Grand Geneva Resort & Spa
The Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is a sprawling 1,300-acre, AAA Four Diamond property, home to 355 rooms and 29 new villas. It's a four-season destination with the Mountain Top ski and snowboard facility and the 225-room Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, an indoor-outdoor waterpark. Sandwiched between Milwaukee and Chicago, Grand Geneva invites city slickers to enjoy the laid-back lake life for a while. It started out as the Lake Geneva Playboy Club, part of Hugh Hefner’s empire. That chapter closed in 1981. Eventually, the property rebranded as a luxury golf resort in 1994 with fine dining and conference facilities for corporate clients. The Highlands and The Brute roll over hills and water hazards, creating distinct theaters for challenging and memorable golf. The WELL Spa + Salon, located in a separate fitness building, offers more than 65 treatments and services.Facts

Holiday Golf w kids
Tge only thing that was noticedbwas price of food and Beverage which was over priced but of great quality. Its not affordable for one to not only golf but then have to be overcharged for goods that in my opinion were way off? I mean $14 for a Brat & Chips is riduculous even uf your clientle is mostly middle upper class. $8.50 for one regular beer is also a tad high. Inflation is not an excuse and I work in food & Beverage and know what things are costing. Thats my real only issue I had otherwise loved the Course F&B Staff, Rangers and Ground Crew and Bag Personel and Cart people were awesome
Enjoyable course!
Took a detour to play here when heading to the Dells for vacation. It was definitely worth the detour! The staff was very friendly. The course (The Highlands) had a nice layout, had been well maintained, and was in good condition! The pace of play was pretty slow for the first 9, and the first few holes of the back 9. While I wasn’t in any rush, it took around 2 1/2 hours for the first 9. The pace did pick up, and the round was completed in right at 4 1/2 hours. The round was also finished with my average of bogey golf.
Always a great experience.
You may not always score well but it is always a great expereince.experience.. Tough course with large greens undulating greens..
Great golf course. Fantastic for the price
Would strongly recommend this course. Well manicured through the woodlands. Almost every hole was secluded. The only drawback was the lack of a halfway house. The cart girl came around frequently but there was no option for food. 👍🏼
Challenging well designed and maintained
Only thing is very large greens- too big in my opinion than they need to be
Worth every penny
Fantastic staff! Attentive and accommodating to the golfers. Course is in great shape. Greens are challenging, but true. From the food, to the staff, to the equipment, to the course… you get everything you pay for and more! First Class Service
Nice course in good condition. Pace was average and could have been a little better.
Course layout was great. greens were super-fast which is fine. The sand traps were absolutely horrible and filled with pebbles, stone and ROCKS. They are throughout the depth of the bunker sand, submerged as well as visible on the surface. Put 3 serious dings in the face of my sand wedge by submerge rocks. I would drop out of the bunkers if I ever play the course again.
Lake Geneva Value
Book your tee time thru GN a week or so in advance. You’ll pay half the walk up fee to play a top notch course with great amenities. Highlands course is forgiving if you can keep it in play. Check in was simple and you get unlimited range balls. Have fun and hit em straight!
Love the Highlands!
Great layout. The greens are very tricky but fair.
Perfect condition on all but a couple. By late August it should be mint. Great job.
