Beautiful
Great course! Nice carts.(speakers, gps) greens looked great, nice fairways. Not crowded.
Great course
This course is beautiful, friendly staff but could be less expense
Better than the River Course
This course had a fun layout, better than the River Course in my opinion. The bev cart came around multiple times. The half-way house was open on this course, it was closed on the River Course. Good hotdogs.
Decent Course
Played the Ocean course, so checked out the River Course. Only saw the Bev cart once on 17.
River course much better
The River course is much better than the ocean course. Holes varied with different challenges. The greens were a bit slow. Ocean is hard dogleg right the hard dogleg left then back again. If you can only play one, the River course is the best. There is only one hole along ocean on the ocean course.
Very Poor pace of play..6 hrs
It took us 6 hours to complete the round. There was no Marshal to get the pace back on track.
A member from our foursome at the turn after 9 went and voiced the pace of play and the staff just shrugged their shoulders.
Would not go back, was frustrating to play 6 hours and wait at every hole, when we could see it was two groups ahead of us that was delaying everything.

For the cost per round, this course should be maintained better. Beautiful views. Driving range in poor shape
Christmas Day Play!!
Course was beautiful and staff was very accommodating. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Back nine got very slow as families in front who were sharing clubs, etc. Would def play again.
Rio Mar River Course
We loved it. The staff was great. Sabrina and Paola kept us supplied with food and drinks. The views are amazing and the course was well maintained.
Little pricey, but worth the expense
Extremely playable. Nice mix of challenging and gettable holes. Greens are a touch slower than I’d like but pace of play and course conditions were excellent
Rio Mar ocean course
Well as a frequent golfer of PR this course would have to rank 3rd on my list of course to play in PR TPC Dorado and Grand Reserve being 1 and 2. Lots of par 3 s and being named ocean course. Only one view of the ocean and that was a very very tight par 3. It should be renamed the ponds/lake course lots of water almost on every hole. I was pleasantly surprised how well the course was dry after a huge rain storm the day and night prior. If your looking for a course not a pricey it’s a fair course to play
Ocean course
Really had a great time. Course was in really good shape, greens were a little furry, seemed cups could have been moved, but did plat on a Tuesday .
Always Fun to play and staff really goes all out to make your round is the beat ever
