Great tip, I have a similar takeaway but as the round progresses I get too bent over the ball causing me to cut across the ball. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have a tendency to take the club too far inside of plane on the takeaway. It sounds like this move will also help with that? Basically its a more “outside” takeaway from what I currently do…

Hi david k : I’m no pro but I *think* that you do want your arms further away from the body in the takeaway & backswing portions, having a big hip/shoulder rotation, and then move the arms closer to the body at the start of the downswing at the top in transition (led by right elbow getting closer to rib cage/body at the start of the downswing).

It appears that elevating your R arm results in you increasing the distance of you arms from your body which I don't believe is desirable. Please tell me what I am misunderstanding. Thank you
