Martin Hall has a unique take on the towel chipping drill that he picked up from Rory McIlroy. It creates nice structure in your chipping motion, which leads to crisp contact.

Great drill that anyone can duplicate easily. I'm going to work this into my chipping practice routine.

One and two and three and....FORE!!!!
thank you one question what club were you using in the demo
Martin: I'm not clear whether the shoulder blades should be pulled together in front of the body (i.e., narrowing the distance across the chest) or whether the shoulder blades should be pulled together behind the body (i.e., narrowing the distance across the back). I couldn't quite tell by watching the video, so please let me know. Thanks,
When you say to bring your shoulders together, are you referring to a scapular retraction?
Thank you for this lesson. Exactly what I needed. I have had a number of instructors and none of them picked up on what I needed.
