Andrew Rice
Andrew Rice shows how a twist to the wrist can help you avoid the weak, open face contact that will lead to a slice. Make this change and start hitting it longer instantly.

Hi Andrew, As someone who fights a block or push fade moreso with the driver and fairway woods than irons, is this bowing of the lead wrist applicable for woods and hybrids or iron shots only? Thanks!
I like this shaping the lead wrist. Can this be applied to using fairway clubs and driver?
I actually have been turning the club down for years. Works really well for the driver, but aim right for the draw. My problem with irons is a tendency to hit the shot fat when turning the hands down. What is your cure for that?
At times that drill causes me to shank the club,
It worked
I will try this tip for sure. Thanks for taking time to help us all become better golfers!! Golf Pass is the next best thing to having a personal golf pro to work with.
Thanks so much Thomas!
Also interested in answer for Driver and fairway woods, if this is applicable?
It sure is Joseph! All full swings.
Tried this Andrew...big pulls resulted.
Any ideas to avoid this as it happens, I assume, from a closed clubface
The release needs to quiet down Haven. Go and practice trying to keep the ball to the non-pull side of the target with a stronegr face. You can do it!
Hi Andrew. I like your training tips! I hit my wood really well (driver thru 7 wd & hybrids). I struggle with irons (7,8, 9 PW). Good with full swing with 56 wedge. The 3 finger rotation & pronated wrist sound right conceptually -but how do I trigger it in my swing?
Thanks!
Spend some time in front of the mirror Phil! Get it to look how it should and then take that feel to the practice tee.
I try to work that flat wrist into my swing BUT are you controlling the club with the right or left hand?
Neither hand Bruce! They each have their own role to play.
