Daily Video Tips

Chicken wings, one of my favorite food, but can't bring them on the course. Unless I want to bring heat! Been working on these for a while and it takes me time. Will try this drill at home. Thanks Aimee, you are the best!
How about using a towel, across your chest, under your arm pits. Does that drill help with chicken wing?
Hi Paul,
Yes, using a towel across your chest can definitely help with the chicken wing. This high-five drill, in particular, helps you feel how your elbows and arms should move when you’re not doing the chicken wing. Trying different drills like this will really help you fix it for good! Hope this helps—thanks!
This really helped me, I was pulling all my irons (usually I come over it and it goes left), and this idea straightened everything out, hit more greens
That’s great to hear—it sounds like it really clicked for you! I’m so glad I could help. Thanks!
Exactly what I needed. How can I stop topping the ball?
Glad I could help! To stop topping the ball, there are different things you could do. First, check your grip and its pressure. Make sure your grip is secure but not overly tight. Too much tension can cause inconsistent contact. Next, check to see if you're early extending vs weight shifting- maintaining your angles. Last but not the least, check your tempo and balance. Rushing the swing or getting off balance makes it harder to make solid contact.
I hope these help you. There are some really good tips on the subject on Golfpass so check them out too! Thanks :)
You're such a gem, Aimee. Love your videos, your positive demeanor and your game. We appreciate you!
Thank you so much! I appreciate that :) Happy golfing~!
