West/East at New Albany Country Club
About
New Albany Country Club boasts 27 holes designed by Jack Nicklaus. The holes are divided into three nines (the North, West, and East) that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. Although it opened relatively recently in 1992, the club has become a central part of the community with extensive golf and tennis facilities as well as an indoor pool. The East/West combination is both player-friendly enough for beginners but it will also be an enjoyable round for more advanced players thanks to idyllic scenery and some challenging holes. Strategically placed bunkers are situated throughout the course as well as the occasional water hazard. In addition to the three courses, the club is home to the New Albany Golf Academy that offers indoor play so that your swing doesn't get rusty during the winter months.
