New Albany Links Golf Club sprawls across gently rolling hills covered with meandering creeks, mature trees, and native grasses and wetlands. There are also a number of lakes throughout that come into play on several holes. The golf course is a fair challenge but it prides itself on its playability. With tees ranging between 4,800 and 7,000 yards, the course accommodates a range of different skill levels. The layout features tree-lined fairways and strategically placed bunkers throughout. New Albany Links Golf Club's 12th hole is one of the course's most memorable. It requires a long drive and an approach that carries past a long bunker and a pond to a narrow green. To the left is certain punishment but a tough up and down waits if you miss right.

Great weather, pace was good, fairwsys in very good shape, construction on sandtraps which we were told about at checkin. Had a very good.
A very pleasant day at New Albany
Got a decent rate not great at New Albany golf kinks. I played with three other single players. We had an Oh dark hundred tee time 7:21am. You could barely see the flight of the ball. Cloudy all morning long. The course was in very good shape. We had experienced quite a bit of rain the night before. The traps were unplayable due to the rain the night before. Enjoyed the four hour round and that was allowing a twosome to play thru. They really don’t have any off course amenities. Always look forward to playing here but for me it is cross town and traffic considerations do come into play. From the gold tees there are some 3 shot to the green for par 4’s.

Overall, an excellent experience, and I'll return to this course. I like to use a cart on a course before I commit to walking the 18. This course's layout may not lend itself to walking unless you really need to get steps in, as some holes have some distance between the green and the tee. However, that doesn't detract from the course itself. One small hiccup was that the pub wait staff could be a tad friendlier. No biggie, but it keeps this experience from being truly exceptional.
Too Much for Poor Conditions
Mother Nature "Rained Down" for weeks prior leaving the course in a soggy state. So charging a premium greens fee for substandard conditions doesn't add up for me.

Even with the range down due to an event that morning the staff was friendly at the bar and gave great explanation. Course was pretty decent and gameplay with our pair up was great. Only got to do 9 holes but would come back again.
Will play again
Pace of play was a bit slow - bachelor party of two foursomes ahead of us. 5 hours.
Other than a couple of tee boxes, everything else was good. People still don't fix divots.
Great Condition but Poor Pace
Golf course was in great condition! Just a few areas they are in the process of mowing due to heavy rains. Pace of play was horrible as no one was monitoring. In two groups ahead of us was a 5 some.
Much improved from last year! Greens were quick and rolled true!
