Beckett Ridge Golf Club
About
Beckett Ridge Golf Club was designed by Jack Kidwell, a well known name in Ohio golf. The course has a classic design that is inlaid with meandering streams that weave through stands of mature trees. The rolling landscape was deftly incorporated into the golf course. The layout offers a variety of holes ranging from long to short, tight to open. It is definitely a course that requires some strategy. One of the most memorable holes is the par-5 fifth. It measures 541 yards, but this downhill hole plays much shorter. There are out-of-bounds on either side and the tricky fairway slopes right to left but with some strategy and a little skill it is possible to make it home in two. Beckett Ridge is one of Southwest Ohio's best golf courses.

Good time
Had fun on course beers were cold hot dogs huge thank
Good layout and some decent elevation
I like this course, the staff is always friendly, pace of play is always on par and they take care of it. It’s time the greens had been aerated which I think all courses should give a hefty discount for but they don’t, pretty hard to putt playing palinko but I enjoy it here, I play here a few times a year and I will return many more
Course in bad shape
Almost every green had huge bare spots. Manny had more bare spots than actual grass on the greens. Several greens were nearly unplayable. To make even worse….the greens were recently aerated. Most boxes were also bare. I played here earlier in spring and the course was in decent condition. I would avoid this course and try again next spring. Definitely not worth $35. The only positive was the pace of play. Understandably there were very few players on the course.
What happened.?
We played this course earlier in the spring, and it was in great condition. Today almost every green had multiple bare spots. It was very difficult to putt. The greens were recently aerated, which added to the difficulty. We may give this course another chance next year, but I can’t see it. Bouncing back anytime soon.
Not Up To Par
It’s been 10 years since I played this course and I was disappointed. It was not as I remembered with the greens in very bad shape and the course overall, in need of care.i would not recommend.
Burn up and drenched
This course is unplayable it's the worst condition I've ever seen it
Must have had some issues this summer with the greens got burned or whatever and then it's gotten multiple times where it's been rain soaked. You couldn't even stand and hit your ball. Felt like I was walking on ice to get the ball
Worst condition I've ever seen this course and for a premium price never again
TRASH
This is the worst I have ever seen the course. Virtually unplayable. The fairway is essentially just brown dirt, tee boxes were abysmal, it’s almost like they don’t take care of the course even a little.
Whoever the owner is should be ashamed and should sell the course tomorrow if this is the condition they are going to keep it in. Pathetic and a black eye for the Beckett ridge community. A once solid golf course, turned into arguably one of the worst in the city.
Shameful.
👎🏼
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in horrible condition. Almost completely burnt up, no grass. For $67 was highway robbery.
fairways on some holes were unplayable
No drinking water stations the course on a hot day
If you like dirt/mud fairways, this course is for you
Used to love playing Beckett back in the day, but the conditions are an absolute joke at the moment. At least half of the fairways have more dirt or mud than they have grass (which is mostly crabgrass). Avoid like the plague right now, hopefully they can get it back to what it used to be
Course is in terrible condition
Greens are half burnt and beat to death. Most fairways have no grass, and tee boxes are a mix of sand and crab grass. Not to mention the cart we had died on the last hole. Wouldn't pay $20 for that experience let alone $45. Likely will not be going back anytime soon. Such a shame because this used to be one of the nicer public courses in the area.
