Green Crest Golf Club
About
Green Crest Golf Club is a player-friendly course located in Middletown. The course was designed in 1972, offering a traditional layout with wide, forgiving fairways and short roughs. The golf course is on the shorter side at 6,271 yards from the back tees, which is indicative of the time it was designed. Strategically placed bunkers lurk along the medium-sized greens on six holes and there are water hazards coming into play on eight holes, but the challenges are straightforward and don't present too much trouble for high handicappers. It might not be the golf course you're looking for if you want a truly formidable test, but it's a good option if you're looking for a quick and affordable round. Green Crest Golf Club is ideal for beginners and even gentle enough for juniors.

The staff is always professional and friendly but I do wish they had rangers to keep pace of play moving.
The fairways, like last year were barren in many areas and the greens rolled very slow.
This is a $30 course in my eyes and nothing more.
I'll be back next year to play a hot deal again and write another review.
GOOD 18 HOLE COURSE
It was a pleasant day for golf. I was late and the staff found me a group that I could join without any issues. The course was relatively slow. Took over 2 hours for the front 9.The course was well manicured but there were several areas in the fairway without grass of little grass. There are only a few challenging (with water) holes, but reasonable a mount of bunkers. I recommend that yoiu stop by the Ice Cream, stop by the golf course entrance., you way out.
A blessing
Have got to know other golfers and I like the pretty flat layout.
Course in pretty good condition. Just a hard experience to enjoy with the overbooking Green Crest constantly does. Tee boxes have 2-3 groups all day long, waiting 5+ minutes almost every shot. Ruins the experience, have had this issue everytime we have played.
Great Public Course
Have played there many times, and this was by far the best pace we have had. It was early on a Tuesday morning. Most weekends can get pretty busy, and they seem to pack everyone in. The course is in great condition, and with the addition of the large covered patio overlooking the 1st T-box, I can see taking advantage of that for a cold drink after a round.
Nice Course
I really enjoy playing this course. Staff is always friendly. As everyone knows golf is getting super expensive. But I found that there are pretty good deals here. The course is pretty flat. Most of the holes are lined with trees, but have plenty of room to drive the ball. I find the course to be fair and challenging. You would definitely enjoy a round here.
Looking
Monday must be mowing day grass was a little high making it a little hard to find balls in the ruff.
