great day for golfing
3 generations out playing today, and the grandson show some of his youtfull skills. Shot a 69 with an eagle. Very thick ruff on the last 3 holes, I guess from the rain we had.
Beautiful course
Course was beautiful. Pace of play perfect… we never were waiting and the people behind us never had to wait for us. Greens were sometimes very fast. Golf course well maintained. Only con… the golf carts were slow…. Purposefully slow. They put something on the gas golf carts to limit their speed.
Short course. Sand traps are concrete. There are rocks and they will scratch your wedge
the newer oak 9 is the story here
After 9 holes i would have given the layout an average at best. Back tees were only 3K yds w smaller greens and sand traps that were blah! However, after 9 we were sent across the street to play the newest 9(The Oak) of the 27 hole facility....A liitle longer with much more character and you could tell it was designed at a later date by someone different. This saved the day......
It’s a great 27 hole layout
I always enjoy Wedgewood. It’s a good test for my game and the entire staff is as friendly as can be.
2 foursomes playing together slowed pace alot.took t hrs to finish 18
wonderful
We enjoyed playing this course so much and will return. Fairways and greens are great!
Clientele
Coarse and staff are ok with the exception of a Ranger to police bad golfers. I’m not referring to their athleticism but rather their etiquette. Loud music, pace of play, driving carts right up to greens. Very poor reflection on the management.
A great blue-collar course
This isn’t a country club, but it isn’t trying
to be. All three 9s - fairways, greens, rough and tee boxes - are in fantastic condition. The staff is so friendly, if you get the opportunity then definitely give it a play.
